Re: Kick new recruits from game after missing the first turn

First, clarification on that, I didn't mean if you missed your second turn but your first two turns (my fault on that). I do think that the first turn is a bit strict, but if you miss your first two turns in a game, it seems fairly likely that you are not going to play in that game... Yes there are ...

Re: Assassin Shuffle Game Type

Duly noted that you are not in favor of this game play. Now please refrain from posting on this topic if you do not have any further input on the matter.

Re: New Battle Royale game type

I like the idea...probably as an alternate option to the current format? That way people can continue to go with their current game play as well if they want... So for Battle Royale there could be 'winner-take-all' and '(can't think of a name right now)'

Re: Kick new recruits from game after missing the first turn

To those people responding 'this only benefits free players' consider the fact that these are the people, I'd assume, that the game is trying to get to upgrade to premium membership. The main ways (I see) this could be done are:
Make it so you MUST have premium to play.
Make it so that you get ...

Re: breaking truces

OK, think about it... First, you need to click on the person's rating score...which would give you the three ratings as well as the overall average... Then you scroll down to see the individual ratings as well as any of the buzzwords attached to them... Then, if the person has more than one page ...

Re: Assassin Shuffle Game Type

How it is like escalating spoils is in the nature of the strategy, not the nature of the game...basically just knowing when would be a good time would be to attack.

As for the 'only' strategy you mentioned, I beg to differ... You could attempt to kill your target quickly before the first switch, or ...

Re: Assassin Shuffle Game Type

Just because you can't see a strategy involved in the game play doesn't mean that there isn't one... As was mentioned earlier, this would be more like an escalating spoils game in strategy than anything else. Please keep your posts constructive instead of demeaning. If you don't like the idea, just ...

Re: breaking truces

'Fair play', it would seem, includes aspects such as secret diplomacy... 'Cheap Tactics' would cover it, but it requires another mouse click to see (which a lot of people are probably too lazy to do) Just a thought.

Re: Assassin Shuffle Game Type

Exactly... This wouldn't be a 'random round change targets' thing...it would be a set time to change your target (say every 10 rounds) If you don't want to leave a target with 1 territory when the change happens, don't attack on round 10 unless you're sure you can win. If anything, I'd say that the ...

Re: fortify anywhere

I like the idea... As with any other suggestion about game modes, it just provides another option (which could be quite entertaining) Stuff like this doesn't ruin strategy, it changes it...and only as an option.

Re: breaking truces

I know this isn't the suggestion forum, but a possible fix for this could be to implement a 'Trustworthiness' rating along with the other ratings that people are given? I realize that 'Fair Play' is probably supposed to cover this, but I don't think that many people really realize that...plus, it ...

Re: Assassin Shuffle Game Type

I feel that both of your arguments could have very likely come up when the original assassin game was proposed... The point of starting a new game type is to incorporate a new type of strategy.

'Completely luck-based' - Much of this game is (as is the nature of any dice game). Additionally, with ...
