I like that there's some more ranks at the bottom - I've finally started winning some of my games, but since I lost most at first I was down to 800 points or so and it takes a while to get back up over 1000. I'm still a private but at least I'm separated from the cooks and cadets!

Do you mean rapidly clicking the advance button as soon as I can, or continually clicking on it because eventually it will go through?

I've run into it twice (in the same game!) where someone was attacking me in a country that I was trying to advance my armies into another territory. The game responds, when you select the number of armies you want to advance, by saying "illegal attack move" and then asking you again how many armies ...
