regions of the country broken into:

- ACC
- WAC
- MTN WEST
- PAC-10 as regions to be conquered
and
individual schools like
- Florida
- Notre Dame
- Texas
- USC
- Colorado
- North Carolina
representing ...

Another fun map might include planets from the Star Wars theme:
Nabo, Wookie, Empire, Federation, Rebel Alliance, etc.

The Hobbit - Lord of the Rings would be a fantastically fun Risk map to play on
