on a lot of internet game sites such as pogo there is the option to make games unrated

i think this would be a great option on CC so that players who just want to play for the enjoyment can play and those who care about score/rank can play in rated games

then the more serious players don't get ...

the dice rules here are the same as the original game

i used to play almost all doubles games with kewlboy4399 cause i liked the dynamic of having to cooperate with another person- it really added another dimension to the strategy that you don't have to think about with singles games

now that there are 2 player games i do a good number of those and ...

Found this which states that the more dice you have the probability of getting higher numbers increases due to to the combinations available so how do cc stats level out on all dice????

this talks about the total of the die... in CC it is not the total number on the ...

once again- the only true reason to worry about the die is if you have a poor strategy

those who have good strategies know not to spread terribly thin and to keep some numbers in their favor

those with poor strategies lose games and points and then complain about the die

obviously some of you failed to read my post of page 3 of this thread... as i explained there the probability of rolling any single number is 1/6- this holds true for every single number and for every single roll

and with an increasing number of die being rolled the probability of rolling a ...

and also playing risk IRL involves more factors that affect the outcome of the roll

such factors include:

- what numbers are facing up on the die when they are rolled
- how hard the die are rolled
- what objects the die may bounce off of
- the texture of the surface on which the die are ...

I agree with this.

I don't like freestyle much either, having experimented with it for the most part so far. The 'wait till the end' tactic is really lame and there is no counter to it apart from doing the same thing yourself.

so i'm in game 581859 it is a freestyle 2 player game.

he takes africa on his first turn and is calling me cheap for not taking my turn while he is obviously still around

my question is: Is this cheap or just survival tactics/ good tactics?

i didn't take points seriously at first either- but soon you become hooked and your score becomes your life

if i have a rainbow set i play it right away so that i can take more territories and hopefully get the extra armies to start my next turn due to having more territories

my one friend and i partner a lot- we play a lot of doubles games- not because we tend to lose fewer points when we lose(cause we also get fewer when we win) but because we like the game dynamic of doubles- we almost always only take our turns when we are both around and we use AIM to discuss moves ...
