So let me get this straight. You guys are opposed to discussing other games in this thread besides Conquer Club? I would think that a comparison thread between the 2 or 3 Internet games based on Risk would be beneficial to everybody. And since we all have the same taste in games I figured everybody ...

my guess would be that he got the idea from the original Risk game by Hasbro Interactive, released Dec. 31, 1996. Why, were you thinking of an earlier game perhaps?

Grand Strategy

Well I play both Grand Strategy and CC, and I prefer GS's "click on territories" method as opposed to CC's "drop down box" method. It's much faster and fewer mistakes are made. CC does have a lot of nice options and is fun too... but I wouldn't go so far as to say that it is always "two steps ahead ...
