According to what I've heard, South Dakota law has no provision for declaring a Senator incapacitated. So for there to be a vaccancy, he has to resign, die, or be expelled.

I t would take a 2/3 vote in the senate to expel him, and I haven't heard of a governer being able to declare a Senator incapacitaed.

Unless he dies or 25 Democrats vote to replace him with a Republican, there will still be a two seat lead for the Dems

After one team is eliminated in a team game, the remaining team play standard style with the winner getting the lion's share of the points and the others splitting the remainder of the points.
