 I read it as one sentence.

The idea is good, and it would be alot of fun. But i doubt that a Battle Royale tourney will ever happen because only Death To All can make them, and also becuase i doubt that you would find enough people to play in the set-up that you're suggesting.

well i did ...

for the deadbeating problem...

if someone deadbeats in a RT game,
they lose double the points?

i dont see this as fair because if the player has an emergency and cant play there goes then double the points could hurt there rank but if the game is made shorter for rt then it is easyer on them and ...

Some really nice ideas...

and this is mostly to improve RT games, so the time to make a move should be low.. like 30min at max... or it wouldn't be a RT game.
the idea with a "time out" clock would also be great...
Hey guys, I HAVE to go now, but could we continue this in about 2 hours? ok? then ...

[quote="Megatron"]i see, so you still want a nice time limit, but as the game is labelled 'rt' everyone should have access to the game around the same time of day so that turns can be taken quickly. Or, are you saying that there would a be "stopwatch" function whereby when everyone in the game ...

IMO:

Labeling RT games as such is a really great idea. Imposing a short stop clock is mostly unnecessary, as the"peer pressure" to play quickly has kept every RT game I've played moving along just fine. Plus, the current system allows players to mutually agree to take a break or whatever ...

optional time period b/w turns would be good, I love rt games, but would not join a 2 hour game for one reason. If the game goes on for more than 5 rounds (very likely) it would be time for sleep eventually (almost everyone sleeps) and then people would miss a lot of turns while they slept. I would ...

If the time limit option were enacted, a strict time limit would also have to be placed on turn lengths, as timed games can easily be taken advantage of... for instance, Person A is winning, and there's 10 minutes left in the game, and he has 15 minutes to make his turn. You get the idea I think ...

i am a noob, so my words dont carry much weight around here.
But as far as i can tell, if everybody is online at the same time, and playing, there is no problem.
basicly everybody can take their turns as fast as they can and the game finishes quickly.
the problem is when someone is missing.
how do ...

I can only see one problem, thats people lives, i mean yeah they may seeem to have the time but what if its a REAL emergency? i mean it wouldent be fair would it, missing turns for lets say there parents get rushed to hospital, or there wife/sister/mum has a baby?, i mean these are all real issues ...

What if it starts real time but everyone has to take more time? One example is when a group of friends start a game at a common location (school or work) and play for a few hours in real time, but then they go home for the evening. What then? They all get penalized?

in this instance i suggest ...

rt games made real time

The idea is that on the 'start your own game' mode there is an option stating 'rt game' or 'international game' if 'rt game' is selected each player has 2hrs to complete their go , keeping it real time, if 'international game' is selected then the game is as normal whereby all players still have ...
