I think SnoboardManiac22 is just pointing out that an alliance is different from a treaty.

I have to side with qeee1 here. He's made some pretty in-depth analysis here; he's obviously thought a lot about this.

I want to touch on a few things though. There is a difference between an alliance and a treaty. We need to stop using the word alliance to describe border treaties and non ...

When you attack normaly, the computer randomly generates a number every time you press attack. How many times does the computer system randomly generate a number when you hit auto-attack? Is it just once, based on the odds of fighting with that amount of armies; or does it 'roll' as many times as it ...

I don't think that's a very genuine tactic. That's just aking advantage of the computer system. If you play the baord game version, you can't manipulate it that way.

I'm curious what people think. It seems that everyone I talk to claims that they're unlucky with dice.

Re: Card Count / Cash In Value

Im sure these have been suggested before but as a rookie my initial suggestions would be:
It would be nice to know how many cards each player had at any given time - information you would know in the board version. It is critical information when you are moving big armies or going for the take out ...

I think a lot of people don't realise that escalating games require a completely different strategy than flat rate or no card games. In flat rate, and especially no card games, the most important factor for growth and strength is owning continents. I think most would agree that the best strategy is ...

There's only one situation where I'll break a treaty without a one turn notice. If a person has almost been wiped out, I'll finish the job off to get the cards. I figure if they'll be wiped out anyway that round, it doesn't matter who does it.

Obviously, if I know they'll trade in a set and be ...

I thought this was just common sense. Has anyone ever read The Art of War by Sun Tzu? Pointless fighting has to be avoided at all costs.

Does anyone ever use the flip side of this? I mean, using a third party as a defensive buffer between you and an enemy. For example, if I'm in South America and ...

we all know the higher your ranked, the less points you win per game. ask blitz. Haz will get 30 points to my 5 points for beating the same player.

Hazmaniac; Games Completed: 239 / 1798 points ...
