I play also on boardgamegeek.com, games normally have a deadline once per day, leading to really high activity. Much more fun, but also much more time consuming, because you really should be there at lynch..

About his claim, I think its total BS.We lynched a Peasant day one and NK another one.Theres only what 12ish people in this game, so by claiming VT your almost assured a night kill against yourself as if you are a VT and they NK you then there would be only 1, or 2 or maybe even none left of the VT ...

I still don't really see how to play a game without deadline. In another forum I play mafia, there is a deadline, and shortly before the deadline there is a huge ammount of discussion and activity going on. That helps to get scum-reads a lot. Here its just a waiting game.

Honestly: I have no clue on whom to kill, and I don't think there ever will be a usefull clue on whom to kill in this game, unless someone gives us some information. So, we have to be carefull not to kill a good special.
Thus, claiming vanilla townie .. well.. better you than a good special, right?
