Useable, and much better than the 60%, but still a downgrade from the Classic we all know and love.

Shoddy job handling all this as well.

The results thus far are disappointing for me. I can live with 30% white, but won't like it. I would love 60% black, but apparently I'm in the minority.

We don't really care how it happens, we just want those silly white dots gone! They clutter the map, make it impossible to scan quickly, ruin the 'feel' of the map, give people headaches, and actually manage to make the map harder to read!

What's worse, they are totally static. Try imagining ...

I'll even go as far as to say that if you remove the circles from the classic map, I'll buy a premium membership.

To answer you question Andy, no I don't think 50-55% would make a difference. I strongly suggest taking them off completely, and making toggling them on optional similar to color codes.

Via the annoying ads on the site

The army circles are part of the actual map image, so theres currently no possibility to make the army circles optional. Theres a small chance it might happen in the distant future, but i doubt it because it would be a hassle to change all the maps already in play.

A better ladder/scoreboard system would do wonders for this site. Instill some kind of competition, built in site hosted tournaments with winners getting medals or something like that.

This site is really taking off, things that breed competition will make it continue to do so.

I don't think it makes much sense to make this a terminator style tournament if you give second place to the person who lasts longest rather than the person who terminates more people.
