I managed to upgrade greasemonkey (was a serious pain to do it because of firewall issues) and it fixed the problem where it hangs with "initializing BOB" or "parsing XML". I would recommend that as the way to go for any with similar issues

how in the world did you start upgrading greasemonkey ...

I have installed all the latest updates and scripts and have tried the alt f5 button several times and I still only get 'Bob Initializing" over and over. I cannot figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

It appears that the army counts on old snapshots on the new classic map are being lined up according to the map the snapshot was saved to, and not to the new classic map. New snapshots line up fine.

I cleared firefox cache, but no change.

Btw, just because I wish the old classics would stay doesn't mean I don't like the new map. It is nice on the eyes.

The new map is ok, but it should be added as an option, not replacing Classic Shapes. BRING BACK CLASSIC SHAPES!

I'm having problems with advancing troops after conquering.

They just won't advance (nothing happens), I look to the old drop down menu and that is empty. So i have to refresh and then use the drop down, which works ...

I just loaded all your active games on Ubuntu and XP SP3 and saw no problems. The XP PC loaded slower, esp. on your high round games, as it is an older, slower ...

Anyone having problems might want to post:
1) game numbers
2) OS version
3) Firefox version (Help/About)
4) Greasemonkey version (Tools/Add-ons)
5) BOB version (listed to the right of 'BOB Menu' on the left of the page).

I'm curious enough to pull the games up to see if I have any issues with them ...

Just loaded 4.10.1 from the side BOB menu on a PC a running Ubuntu 9.04 and Firefox 3.5.6.

Everything appears to be running smoothly (haven't played any turns yet though). Response time is definitely improved compared to 4.10.0.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this - here is a quick, fragile hack for moving the game info and spoils info back below. I'm not currently able to be in the business of fully maintaining scripts (thank goodness for sherkaner and others).

Thanks for giving some choice in the new changes. I much prefer the side stats to stats below, so it is great to have that option. And thanks for the effort to allow BOB to integrate smoothly.
