Are you serious? You need to learn how to read big guy. I never said the notifications aren't working. I said activity has lulled, and speed games sometimes take AN HOUR to actually get filled, and that is for TWO PLAYER GAMES. Speed games for anything other than a HANDFUL of maps are nonexistent ...
So is this going to be implemented? I would think protecting the integrity of games and increasing site registration would be a priority but I could be mistaken.
Yes having Ranks has positive effects on the site as well. I will not go into the myriad reasons why, but I believe the positive reasons to have Rank on the site far outweigh any negatives as you state. I do see your point, but I think you are missing the forest for the trees.
unfortunately they can't even get that part right. the high score is not accurate. for example it says my high score is 2667 when I have in fact been over 3000, so best to just let this one die.
I also see your logic about it being a negative feature, but you must also consider the positive aspects ...
I do not know what the person who posted said because I've foed them for waiting for other people to join my speed games and then jumping in when I am distracted - another prime example of why this feature needs to be implemented asap! So we do not have as much foeing going on!
Speed games often are expected to be 2 minutes or less, the speed game community at least in my experience, dislike games that even have five minute turns. As a result, many speed games are completed extremely quickly, within a few minutes the outcome is determined. However, because of the lull in ...
Still hoping to put together some pickup teams for Quads/Trips!
On a related note, I have three or four games open that are waiting for an opposing team to join!
Check my Game Finder/Waiting to see the games available.
Negativity is contageous! Let me spread the good word :) I agree with you on dice related posts, but unfortunately this feud has been going on for so many years on this site now that I almost feel like it's worse than a political debate. There are the people on the left who think dice are random ...
Also, one last word about the idea of removing the limit of number of games for Non-Premiums. It would do wonders for the site's reputation. Instead of a bunch of complaints about the current state of the site, it would be people bragging about how great the people who run the site treat their ...
The ideas you have are all good, but they are beyond the scope of my suggestion. Your opinion matters, but what needs to happen here is the businesspeople who run the website need to look at the suggestion described here and decide how it fits with their current strategy. Feel free to voice your ...
If I were you I would keep speed games premium, and polymorphic, but allow players to play here as much as they want.
But that is up to you, if you think limiting players' ability to play here is helping you win them as customers, fine.
The survey would measure CC's marketshare, how much of a gamer's time is spent on CC, or playing other games. It doesn't have to be precise, it just has to ask the player to rank CC compared to the other games they play, find out what other games they play and how much they play it compared to CC ...
You could test my theory easily: Do not take my word for it. Send out a survey and ask the users how much time they spend on games and see how Conquerclub ranks compared to the time they spend on other games that they could spend here. I'm sure you'll find that Conquerclub is not the first (and ...
While I agree with you completely, and you have a valid point, I believe that increasing the amount of play allowed for Non-Premium members would be a financially beneficial choice: As you increase the amount of playability for Non-Premium members, which make up most of your userbase, you will ...
And literally every player on here can afford premium. They just choose not to.
Yes I think this is true. Many small businesses have this problem, they are so focused on getting new customers that they neglect their current ones. If the site focused more on pleasing the players that already ...
Do you think that the addition of polymorphic games, which have only existed for ~20% of CC’s history, have added significant value to the Premium Membership? If so, wouldn’t that be a great opportunity to reduce the limitations on non-premium members. (i.e.; let them play the game instead of ...
