I may be wrong, but I believe once a map is quenched and it's available for everyone, updates should be posted in GD.

Seems this problem is acknowledged above, but how about a formal announcement somewhere on the site, or at least leaving a PM for people playing the map or a post on the games impacted?

I guess that'd be asking for too much.... It seems to be easier to confuse everyone and let everyone think ...

Maybe I'm dumb, but I haven't been able to get the whole new "icons next to people I've defeated uniquely" thing to work.

I've run my name with all maps using the sidebar doohickey, I've done the same on the game finder page, I bookmarked searches, etc. etc.

It's possible that I'm misreading what ...

The funny thing is that there are these little icons next to a players name that, in fact, do a halfway decent job of letting you know if the player is good or bad. They're called ranks. Perfect system? No, but not a bad one.

Ratings are for behavior. Ranks are for skill. Two flawed but generally ...
