Omg, talk about an over-reaction. a) I didn't report anyone for cheating. I pointed out that the names were similar, added that the play at that point seemed fair, and suggested such similar names probably needed looking into. I even acknowledged the possibility of a relationship. Read it - it's ...
In my game, one was in africa, with all his troops attacking me north and east. Meanwhile, he left 1 on Dakar, leaving africa undefended against the other one in sao paulo. 1 vs 1 and neither attacked the other. Now *that* is sus - stinks of SD.
Comments: I could be totally wrong. I mean, they attack each other. But surely these player names cry out to be looked at more closely ... They've played a few games together, but ...
If that's tactics, then it's very poor tactics. Green has nothing to lose. With 100+ in Dubai and only 1 defender in Cairo why wouldn't he take it and kill blue's bonus? I agree, with the spoils in the 100's, what's the value in a 3 troop bonus. But by the same token, why not take it?

Comments: For most of the game, certainly for the last four or five rounds, these two payers have not attacked one another, and only attacked me. In addition, I find that solarsam ...
I did not know there was a distinction between a truce and a treaty. So i checked the log. The two players agreed to a "truce" . I need to educate myself on the difference between a treaty and truce as it applies in this game. This forum topic is as much ...
Also, if you're talking about a "treaty", then the terms of such an alliance would probably indeed include equality of bonuses. But if it was in fact a "truce" then I'd say the request falls outside of that definition. Still, it's a matter for the players to work out amongst themselves and is not ...
No, it's not cheating. Just part of the game. And I don't consider it poor sportsmanship either. In fact, I kinda get tired of people saying it's either.
Frankly, I've seen people use that strategy when no such build up of troops exist - so other players can be just as easily fooled when the ...
Whether or not I was syntactically correct referring to them as a deadbeat is almost irrelevant, given the severity of the language in the pm they sent - one MONTH after the event, and after their last pm. Clearly the just can't let go. Would have been good if toeing them had avoided this problem.
After they deadbeated in a game, I gave the above an appropriate rating. They followed that with an abusive pm. So I foed them and forgot about it. Now, some time later, I get another abusive pm from them. I didn't think they were ...
Thanks for that excellent summary, Dibbun. I'd certainly support all your comments there. I just received an abusive PM from someone who didn't like my rating. Foe and move on is now my motto.
