That "corse" really annoys me, is there any way it can be made to sit the right way up?

Referring to your map 13/3/07

use æ's and ø's
Rename Jutland with the Danish name Jylland, then call them Nordjylland, Jylland and Synderjylland
I don't like the inclusion of Bornholm in the continent Hovedstaden, which means, basically, the administrative region
I prefer the continent layout ...

If you move the border between Nord Jylland (the top section of the Danish Peninsular) south a bit you can call the southern portion Germany (or Tyskland, as it is in Danish). either that or cut some of the german part off and leave it as north/south Jutland

Just had a look at the map

I hate to add on the argument, but why is Bornholm missing? It really ought to be there (plus you can make Denmark a 4 country continent, thus making the 2 army bonus make more sense)

as to naming

The southernmost part of Sweden should definitely be called Skåne ...

Wikipedia tells me that, although Finland is geographically not entirely part of ScandInavia it is culturally and linguistically.

As a Danish speaker myself, I can tell you, first hand, that although Old Norse may have been spoken in Finland, modern Finnish is nothing like modern Danish ...

Several things need changing, as far as I can see, most involving naming (I refer to your map posted 17 Feb 2007):

a) Either change the name of your continent "Alps" to "Provence" or the name of your country "Alpes" to "Provence" or "Nice" to avoid confusion. Provence is a region of South-East ...

I don't know if this has been suggested before. I may have posted this already. How about a map from George Orwell's "1984". He never actually designed a map, so there wouldn't be any copyrights.

For an idea about how the map looks go to m

or read the book!

We could use Oceania, Eastasia ...

I can barely distinguish between the various colours.

Green and yellow look exactly the same, as do blue and green.

I'm colour blind, but it effects 5% of males, so there are quite a few out there.

Try making the colours brighter and more contrasted
