I like the idea. 8-12-16 hr turn games.
in a 24 HR game it is 2-3 days in between games by the time everybody plays.
If you don't have time to play a speed game, don't get into one. If you can't play a 12 hr turn game, don't get in to it.
Don't see any bad reason to have ...

There is something that irritates me and I don't know if it really should or not. Playing a 1v1 game, i guess any map but I mostly play classic, the other person has essentially won the game, and I'm just laying down. Instead of attacking me, they use troops to get a continent.
