So someone drops out of a game and those now vacant slots are left till the end? Otherwise how else do we explain the final slot having been filled and yet there still being slots available? How come the game I was invited to didn't work like this?

Incidentally, the game that I created and was the green player on was way back near the end of the seven figure game-number days. Game 9968930 from October 2011 to be precise!

No, if you decline an invite or drop a game, that slot is vacant .

I did think of that, but once when I accidentally dropped out of a game I'd created, the other player who'd joined got the red spot and I was left with green. This was a few years ago so things might have changed.

However I've noticed that once people decline a game invite ...

I'm sure you'll find that providing the number of players x5 = less than the number of board territories , then no-one can have the same spoil twice.

In other words on Classic, in anything up to 8 players you'll be fine. If everyone's built up 5 spoils in 9 player however, then three territories ...

How has this happened? :

2) it does say it will reset? seems clear enough.
3) it is explained in the general rules that you can attack through killer neutrals in trench games.

I agree. Referring to holding "any" five is clearly misleading.

How are colour codes assigned? I finished up with the colluseum open on the desktop PC and my laptop and if you take the winner he was 'a' on the laptop and 'aw' on the dektop, while the runner up was 'd' or 'af'. I just wondered why this was?

I've never played a speed game, and only played freestyle twice! I think speed is definitely the best way to play freestyle though - unless you can commit to taking a turn anytime of day!

Also, will be getting any standard instead of just speed?

I love nuclear... but not so much on the bigger maps!
