So I finally won a game after about two to three months of being on this site. Of course I only played 13 games because of vacationing and because I am not a premium. However, should I be discouraged that it took me this long to win one?

Sometimes it is a bit slow, but considering that I have so much time to do my moves it doesn't bother me very much.

Well, you are playing your turn so it shouldn't count as a missed turn. I guess the penalty is that you just don't get a card if you are supposed to.
