Yes, 25 this time, because of the wasted questions. The rules will change for the next one, and the limit will be 20.

I wasn't creative enough to actually make your location have a meaning.

If there's a few folks looking at this the area around Smyrna Ave. looks very promising.

Red Baron, we are within this red box correct?

We can potentially divide it into quadrants using Smyrna Ave and Garfield Ave

It's a good plan sully, we've also got 2 question left before we have to make the final question for location. and try and narrow the search further. Using Smyrna and Garfield questions to narrow the quadrent down.

There is a tree on Wyoming Ave. near the corner of Garfield Ave. that keeps bugging the hell out of me that looks just like the tree in the background on the picture. :?

Andy always seemed like an upper class kind of guy to me. It's no wonder he's lost. I bet his Cadillac Escalade broke down around the corner and he stopped for directions because his GPS is on the fritz and AAA doesn't have an office in Delaware. That's the only explanation.

The way I see it is that with 20 questions we can divide the earth into 1/(2^20) or 1/1,048,576ths

Of course, as only 57 million miles^2 of the total 196,940,400 square miles is land, We're looking at the 20th question yielding us 54 square miles.

Excluding Antarctica, (because if Andy's lost in Antarctica, screw it, he's lost for good) we have a land area of 52 million square miles.

Including Antarctica , over one fifth of the globe's land mass is under water (oceans, lakes, rivers, etc.) or ice. This leaves about 45 million square miles of exposed land.

Not all this land can be used beneficially however. A significant portion of the Earth's exposed land is uninhabitable or cannot be used for any agricultural purpose. Large portions lie in the far north. Large portions are extremely arid. Large portions are very mountainous. In sum, only about one fourth of all the land on earth, or somewhat more than 12 million square miles, is arable.

So after 20 questions, we should be able to narrow down Andy's location to approximately 11.45 square miles. This is still daunting. Can we do it again?
