Whoo hoo, San Francisco picks up a key division victory in the NFC West.
Game 7993252

Looks like i will remain tied with Arizona for the division lead. Good thing it is a home game for me as he is 7-1 at home but only 2-5 on the road :D .

Let me get this right though, technically i am in the lead in the division with us each tied at 9-6 because my division record is better. However since i lost to him already once on the road, and a loss will give us the same division record then it is winner of this week 17 game takes all? I can wait until your next pm, just wanted to rest my guys up in week 17 if possible to prepare for the playoffs. But if i am not guaranteed then i should concentrate on week 17 before i start thinking about the playoffs.

Heads to heads is the first tiebreaker, so if you both end 9-7 and he swept you (2-0), he wins.

Unless, of course, Seattle or St. Louis also end 9-7 and force a three-way tiebreaker.

You both are currently at 9-6. As of now alaskanassassin is first in the division, since he won the prevous head-to-head game Game 7757190

However, you and alaskanassassin play each other in Week 17. So the Winner of that game will go 10-6 and the loser will go 9-7. Even if adam666
wins his Week 16 and 17 game, you won the series 2-0, you you will win that tie-breaker.

adam666 and alaskanassassin split their 2 head to head games, but even if adam66 wins his last two games and alaskanassassin loses to you in Week 17, you will still win the series.

So basically, the winner of you and alaskanassassin in Week 17 will win the division.

That looks about right. Thanks Z-Rambo for the very in-depth details.

As for the NFC, all playoff spots (including Wild Cards have been clinched) With the exception of the NFC West division. Which will be determined by the winner of Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers.

The NFC East division still does not have a clear division winner, but both nippersean (WAS) and HighlanderAttack (DAL) will both be in the playoffs has either a Division winner or Wild card, depending on Week 17 matches.

NFC North:
alt1978 (MIN) has clinched the division, and Blinkadyblink (DET) has the 2nd Wild Card spot.

NFC South:
dshedd (NO) has won the division and a playoff spot.

In both conferences, the seeding is still a close race. Remember the higher seed will always have home field advantage in the playoffs (except in the Super bowl)

Looks like the niners will miss out on the postseason. Arizona went first and took a bonus first round, with 8 on the border, no cards = game over before i even took my first time. Go NFC west i guess :-(

Looks like with my loss and Jwahl2's inevitable victory over Gromph, Jwahl2 would win the AFC North Division and Gromph would get the second AFC Wild Card due to defeating me Head to Head in Week 2. That sucks!!! Well, congratulations to those who made the playoffs and I'll see you next season.

The Jags head into Cleveland and upset the Browns in the opening round of the 2010 playoffs. Coach dowian2 seemed happy with the win, but doesn't look to be celebrating just yet. "We took care of business this week, but we've still got three games to go. We've got to get to work to prepare for either the Bills or the Colts."

Congrats on the series win dowian. You have got a tough opponent in the next round, whomever it may be. However, with your win, you have also qualified for the Pro Bowl.

In a weird first half in Indianapolis, the Jaguars and have outpassed Peyton Manning and the Colts on Age of Realms twice, while the Colts are running all over San Marino on the Jaguars. The Jags hold a slight lead going into the third and fourth quarters on the road, and are looking to pull the big upset to reach the AFC Championship game.
