Another thing to consider, though:

Let's imagine that Greece is a lyncher, and hecter is a lynchee. It is pretty much established that we have a vig, so why not vig hecter tonight, instead of lynching him? Plus, that gives us an extra lynch to find someone else scummy.

derfderf, stop skimming! Have you even looked at the rest of the posts? He might be paranoid/crazy cop, or a lyncher, or any number of things. You didn't even address those. Now, please read some of those other posts before you make your vote. Every townie dead makes the mafia closer to winning. And if he is a lyncher, than he will win when I'm dead.

ty... It's not a 100% confirmation, but it definitely makes you less suspicious in my eyes, and leads us to the likely conclusion that while greece may be a cop, he's not a straight-up cop.

Or he lies like a dog and claimed cop so that a real cop would come forward to refute him...

I'm more inclined to the former. Roleclaiming cop on day one when you're not the cop is risky as all hell.

At the moment, the person who now looks the scummiest, operating on the principle that noob mafia tend to only skim the posts and look for their name cropping up, is derfderf.

It's because Mafia wins when they outnumber the town, not when they are all dead.

In a pinch, we could always lynch greece and find out for certain... but I'd just as soon not to that unless we have to...

Precisely... and the win condition isn't always 'You win when the mafia are dead"... there are other factors that can come into play where the town only wins when everyone remaining is pro-town... (which means we may be able to rule out a serial killer)

You know, it's pretty obvious derfderf is skimming. And, whether or not he's scum, his behavior isn't helping the town.

So, FOS derfderf. This will turn into a vote unless I find a good reason for it not to.

I think we should hold off on lynching either hecter or GreecePwns until Greece's sanity can be figured out. Plus, there is always the chance that Greece is a lyncher or a grudgeholder.

Wait, guys, I've got an idea. Colaalone died for no apparent reason, right? We know Colaalone is a politician. Furthermore, this game started with night, so Colaalone had a chance to purchase someone's vote.

So, here's my conjecture: Colaalone was day killed because he accidentally purchased a scum vote overnight. Thus, whomever he purchased the vote from should not have a vote today. (Does the vote revert, since Colaalone was day killed?)

So, my plan to catch scum : everyone vote for the person immediately below them in the list. Whoever doesn't vote (or whose vote doesn't show up in the vote count) is scum.
