I voted for the Holy Grail simply because it was the only Python option on the list, although quite honestly I think it's the least funny of the Python movies. I would have rated Life of Brian much higher, and Meaning of Life highest of all. Even Live at the Hollywood Bowl is (debatably) funnier than the Grail.
It's a real shame The Producers didn't make the list. (The original, not the sad, sad remake.)

I haven't seen the remake (probably a good thing) but the original was hilarious. Wouldn't necessarily say it's on my top 10, but good anyway.

The poll is for the greatest, that doesn't have to mean the funniest.
The answer is the Great Dictator. It defeated Hitler.
A comedy list cannot be legitimate without Charlie Chaplin.

Ok think my last post was confused so i am nominating these 4, apart from being ahead of their time, highly original in there format and content, well directed and acted, they were all bloody funny and should be in the top ten
Life of brian (certainly the best python movie)
Waynes world
One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest
Borat

What is this? I don't even... etc.
I agree. Holy Grail is awesome.
My favourite part of The Quest for the Holy Grail is The Wizard Tim.
