@chuck. You confirmed right before dakky. A lot of people confirmed after the opening scene without saying anything else--dakky was just the only one to admit that he skimmed the scene. You decide if scum would draw attention to himself by admitting to skim the thread like that. LSU voted dakky and then claimed later that it was a joke vote. I'm not sure about that.

When I last played here Epitaph, we spent half of day 1 joke voting and or constantly changing votes to mess with the mod unless the mod put in a restriction such as a game limit on vote changes like I did in a few of my "war" games i modded. In those days we would vote for reasons ranging from color someone posted in to being the post ahead to just the fact someone was always on etc... As far as opportunistic, I give bs reasons all the time on day 1 and when time comes will change or unvote them when I am done joking around with votes.

I don't have much for reads yet, all I have so far is that scum are likely not total noobs for not wagoning with my weak vote. Of course I don't think that mrbelly should be lynched for posting that. However, it doesn't clear him either, so I will leave my vote there for now.
I think that mtam's "push" on chuck is pretty weak, but I'd say that is pretty normal for him trying to get some discussion moving, so I'd lean slightly town there
I don't think LSU's vote was anything to read into, but I would like to hear more from him

Also as I stated before if someone was caught skimming in those days, it was an automatic vote from most members in the game instead of busting his chops and giving him a grand total of a second vote when 7 are needed for a lynch. It should also be pointed out that of the joke votes that were originally cast some are still listed there while my 2 joke votes were both removed after a couple of days.

Well sausage most of the people playing here were not playing back when I last played so yes I am going to talk about the old days when it comes to those types of votes on day 1 since it is evidently different nowadays with the current group. We did have some that would always vote each other on day 1 just out of habit, get fake wagons on some that were traditional day 1 lynches just to see if they would go ahead and give reasons for proceeding etc... Once on a day 1, we lynched someone that caused a 100+page day 1 discussion (mandy ) over argueing over something that was actually insignificant in the game.

Belly I get a 50/50 view of because scum want to lay low, but not too low in view. This could fit in with several others as well though that haven't been posting much or just posting about gifs.

Chuck is one I am most suspicious of at this time because he should be able to know the relevance of understanding past games and how they can play into the current game(if fircoal is mod then all bets are off since he always made post restrictions in his games )

Epi isn't defeinding me, he just played a lot of games with me and has some meta on me so I think he just accepted that lot of us skimmed through that post.

This is not a game to educate, join a beginner game if you wish to be educated or wait for the post game to talk about it.

Ok, I'm sure once the game is over you will be able to tell us all how right you were about something after the fact.

Day one interactions are the most important in games, Id rather see more things develop with conversation and then make my final day1 reads with about 72 hours left.

I don't think chuck is antitown. He seems inexperienced. The inexperienced will pound on people that skim because they know that it's something that people shouldn't do. I disagree with endgame's suspicion there, but I do like his vote for sausage since sausage's vote on Mrjelly was forced.

I will admit that I was a little confused as to whether the day had begun or not. But as I said earlier I was more interested in what I saw as you coming to his defense than his skimming.

I get that a player's history can be relevant but my vote wasn't because he was referencing old games. My vote was for a joke vote for him saying he was too lazy to look.

If someone acts a certain way when they are a certain type of character, then yes by all means you should meta and use past behavior to help understand them until they have proven themselves to act different with the same character role. Second Mitch you seem to seem to be defensive of Chuck being that I voted him. So either a) you are Chuck's partner or b) you are skimming as I did not vote anyone as scum based off of past behavior. I simply gave a FOS at Epi and have not ruled him out as a scum player since he is good at playing scum. In no way does this either state that he is in fact scum or even likely to scum. It just means I'm not ready to dismiss his behavior just yet.

I'm referring to beginner mafia which i read already although also in process of reading Adventure time where he was also a vanilla townie based off of the death roles.

I did read the setup, which is why I knew what you were softclaiming with your comment. I admit it really doesn't say much of anything, which is why all I said was that one off comment.
The name of the game hints at two factions potentially working together, so it is possible someone will want to claim something other than VT, but I have a hard time envisioning that scenario. Whatever, we will cross that bridge if it ever arrives.

Right, forgot about that, my bad. It's been a while honestly, I've been laying off mafia for a while, and when I used to play it a lot I almost always played setups with at least one cop or similar type role. I got the roles mixed up.

I really don't get the FOSs towards me re: dakky. I called out weak pushes on him and I'm the scummy one?

It cracks me up when I see people make votes and then try to act like they are either jokes (LSU) or traps meant to draw people onto weak cases (sausage). LSU has gone from saying that we used to do tons of joke voting on this forum and that's why he voted the way he did to explaining how a lot of players act based on recent games. All this backpedaling and explaining makes LSU look worse in my eyes. But then he says that he's researched how a lot of us play in recent games--so, I can't tell if he's up to speed on the forum or not. It takes a lot of time to do that kind of research.

On the other hand, sausage's reaction to my comment was "call me scum if you think I'm scum". I find this reaction more townie because he seems more daring, like he can prove himself a bit more.

I like Endgame so far.

I agree with everything that you have said about LSU, sausage can go either way for me right now and I would probably never lynch endgame ever this game. I liked the way he responded to me about wing being a sub for the game.

But for sausage I could go either way on right now.
