Will there be an update for the end of February. There wasn't one in January.

If people are busy and would like help I could potentially help.

There wasn’t a Jan 1 update, nor a Feb 1 update. We are nearing the March 1 update. And the one posted for Dec had an error that was never corrected as far as I know.

There will be a new ranking soon. Couple of days.
The error for the league result will be corrected as well.

Since we're into March now, would it be possible to get a March 1 update as well?
Also, just FYI, the original post still has "... November ranking" as the thread title, which is what shows up in the forum thread list.

How are tie breakers decided?

Just wait until the next day and run the rankings again. Decay will be different for each clan, so someone will slip into the lead!
Seriously though, even though score is reported as integer values, I would assume it's calculated as a floating point (real) number, so it would be very unlikely to get an exact tie.

Yeah, I understand that part and that tomorrow will be different. But for D400, in March, there’s a tie.

It’s not listed alphabetical, nor is it ordered by weight. So I wanted to know what the tie breaker is for the rankings listing.

Doc Brown is right. They arent integer so there isnt really a tie.

I think the top 10 is the most competitive it's ever been. There is no clan I think you could put #1 without disagreement and I couldn't even accurately give a top 5.

I don't know if there is or is not disagreement. Last year after S&M won the Cup they were number one and most of TOFU said they should remain #1 until someone beats them in Cup (or baring that a large war). For the same reason I think TOFU deserves to be #1 until someone beats us in Cup or a large war. I suspect S&M might even agree with that, although I have no doubt they burn to be the ones that knock us out of that position.

I'd easily put S&M above #3 right now. 3-5 are a bit harder but I'd go with clans that actually have a resume of major victories ahead of those that do not.

For me I think I can rank a top 5:

TOFU
S&M
FALLEN
FOED
LHDD

I meant solely on current form, probably wasn't specific enough.

I agree on TOFU being 1st without question at the moment.
As for the rest, not sure how you get that ranking, what you mean by major victories ? We did smash FALL during the last CC cup, and, hadn't we played the 2nd division our ranking would be way higher. I think FALL/LHDD are still on the same level. FOED are maybe just a little step behind, but it's really not by much if they are.
so I'd say
1st - TOFU
2nd - S&M
3-4rd LHDD/FALL
5th FOED

But seeing as S&M is actually finishing 4th of the 1st DIV, I think Caff is right in his assessment 2,3,4,5 are hard to define right now.
Which make the CC cup more interesting so that's for the better.


I also agree with you that A^ ranking in the "top 5" is a bit more "questionable" due to the low amount of results, even though they did beat us during 2nd div and have a serious roster, they are still a small clan ( size/history/results wise).

Their history is that of Aeternus also, a clan which was ranked top 10 for a long time and peaked #4. If anything, the clan is stronger now than it was then. TheTrueNorth and I are no longer there (massive loss, obviously) but they have since gained several good players. They didn't lose a single match in the entirety of CL which is still impressive even in the 2nd Div.

What current form are you looking at?

TOP's most recent war was vs DBD which they only won by 5 games. They have several of their best players inactive and placed mid-table in CL. TOP haven't won a war against a decent clan since 2016.

LHDD are currently 17-3 vs RGV and have performed well against everyone apart from TOFU and A^. They only played in 2nd Div of CL because they sat out for a year, they didn't get relegated.

Well because they have played very few wars against top clans.
They have one victory against FOED and against OSA during the MC1 but this was back in 2016, and one defeat 29/20 against OSA during the CC8.

Imho, they haven't proved much. Being 1st spot for a while without facing strong clans doesn't mean that much.
Their last results of 24/19 against DBD isn't telling me they would beat us. Ofc can't say for sure without facing them for real, but it has low chance of happening during the CC9 I think.

I got to agree with Caff here, what form are you looking at for TOP?

TOP is not the clan they where a year ago. They have added a number of players from Tank Squad and PACK (lower ranked clans) and have lost a number of their original members. Looking at recent results they finished 5th in CL(1 point above 8th) and only beat DBD by 5 points in round 2 of CC9.

I see things as TOFU number 1, LHDD, S&M, and FALL number 2-4. After that is think there is a bit of a drop off to FOED in 5th followed by the next group of A^, TOP, OSA, and ATL fighting for 6th to 9th. Not sure there is a clear number 10 between LOW and AFOS and not sure if those 2 are on the level of 6th through 9th or a level slightly below.

That group from from Tank Squad would've been accepted into just about any clan.

OSA just got relegated from the Clan League so not really sure they can be considered top 10, but then they've just acquired some of SOH's best players, so hard to judge them until they play. Ascension are also better than TOP and ATL in my opinion.
