Not that there's much to talk about. Except I think everyone saying "I could mod the forums" is a bit dumb - I know of a monkey who could mod the forums. It doesn't make it a good idea.

I agree with you aafitz would make a great mod.

1. He's got a talent for typing wonderful posts. He would make a great media relations.
2. He takes pride and honor within CC.
3. He takes his responsibilities seriously. Everything I see him say he is going to do, he does it. He does not always agree with the mods, but that makes him a better candidate in that he can share his ideas and goals with the them, thus making CC a better place to be.
4. His feedback speaks for itself.
5. Many CC fans (including myself) look up to him as a good player (Following Twill's #1 rule).
6, 7, 8. He is a good sport, and great guy to talk to as well, and a good companion.

9. He played a shitload of doubles with the incomparable dugcarr1

But seriously, is there anything that changed recently that needs talking about in here?

Lol, I did indeed play hundreds with Dug, and enjoyed those games...the team game chat was absolutely priceless. I can still quote some of his lines from memory... but I obviously have a slightly different approach in my posts than dug did....

As far as being a mod, I am far too selfish for that Im afraid.. even if asked I would decline. I have my fun posting when people are out to sabotage the site, and do try to always post an impartial perspective, usually aimed at a positive outcome but like all.. i enjoy having fun...

Part of the reason I back the mods so often, is because I know they have a tough job, and its one I myself would not be able to do. It also allows me to post any disagreement with them, which I would not be able to do if i joined as a mod....

I think the mods should act as professional representatives of the site as if it were a major corporation. Not because it is, but because it has such a large number of customers and that all customers should be handled with complete respect. I simply do not want to be held to my own ideals. And quite frankly. They dont need me. They've done a great job of making this place a home-away-from home for many players.
