yes, i know you support a more central london map, whether it is instead of or as well as this one has not yet been decided.

the NYC map is a good example of what we are talking about. when people think of new york they think of brooklyn, the bronx, manhatten & the statue of liberty. they are all there.

the sydney map is the same. when people think of sydney they think of the harbour, the opera house & the olympics. guess what, all there.

so what do we think of when we think of london ?

buckingham palace & royalty
the thames
hyde park,
west end,
the tower of london
any place in monopoly :D

lmao greenoaks - i think your view is my view and everyone's view but not kemmler's view

WHEN!! this gets quenched (lol im very optimistic, this needs changing a hell of a lot though) andway when is quenched, and when the sydney map is quenched, there could be a cities tournament!
like the AoR toureny, and things - that would be cool 8-)

p.s. oaks - go check out the archipelo thread :twisted: [/threadjack]

i would also like to see a map of Paris.

so we'd have Sydney, London, New York & Paris maybe Rome and then it could do a catwalks of the world, who can strut their stuff tournament.

i also don't like the airports, if you are going to have bridges they will need to look different to what you have.

i am currently downloading photoshop, half way now only 3 hours to go. i already have inkscape but i thought i'd change.

I can do alot in GIMP, but some things (castles, villages, etc) need to be done in inkscape then opened as a layer in GIMP

Inner/Central London

Post by t-o-m »

These are some places that wikipedia classes as buroughs in inner london.
Wikipedia wrote:These inner London boroughs are:

* Camden
* Greenwich
* Hackney
* Hammersmith and Fulham
* Islington
* Kensington and Chelsea
* Lambeth
* Lewisham
* Southwark
* Tower Hamlets
* Wandsworth
* City of Westminster

The City of London was not part of the County of London and is not a London Borough but can be included. North Woolwich is an anomaly as it was part of the County of London but was transferred to Newham, an outer London borough, in 1965.

well to make "the city" big enough for a army circle and name u need to have the map quite big, slightly bigger than u do now i think, so why not just include all of london instead of central boroughs? if u gonna make central then the current outside and inside wont line up so u might as well make all of it

hmm...
i think i need a poll,
i really dont mind what i do
-
i think that the way that this will get through is if people see what they wanna see, i.e the parks, house or parl, palace, and crap like that. (and greenoaks, yes and the monopoly places :P )
so i dont know what people want,

me putting up a poll now

T.H is Tower Hamlets, i thought i explained that in the origonal post??

anyway, at the moment im trying to decide whether to make it more "touristy" like have places that people know like parliment and the palace and things, or just keep it as it is??

thats what the polls about ;)
