Well I say bring it back. There are times on CC when GD reaches new heights of boredom, when one scrolls down the GD page and finds nothing worth even reading never mind commenting on. At those times (and assuming for some reason that my thought process hasn't naturally turned to bigboobstightarse.com) flamewars is more than worth a read. In fact, it is sometimes very, very funny.King_Herpes wrote:mpjh wrote:You know, Jiminski, we get your point, the less that is said about the disappearance of FW the, less likely it will come back. Haha, this is quality material here. Laying it on extra thick to really expediate your agenda. Just because some people took that place too seriously and got all butt hurt when they ventured in there doesn't mean it was any more detrimental to a young'ns eyes then anything else out there in this sick, sad world. Wake up people, this is a war game and getting rid of a safe haven for degenerates isn't going to turn this site into some G-rated Disney Land over night. It might clean up the overall image that the site wants to promote and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. That's their prerogative.
Even if the clouds go away and the Sun comes out, you're still going to have pricks like me that cut others down for shits and giggs and poke fun at their misfortunes. Then of course there is always our favorite anonymous online predators that lurk in every corner of the World Wide Web that will then just adapt and change their screen name to Jiminy Cricket. Except when they lie to your children about their age it won't be Pinochio's nose that grows...

It seems that way to me also, the old 'Oops-I-misplaced-Flame-Wars-where-is-it-now?' trick.Rocketry wrote:I think they just saw Aprils Fools as an excuse to get rid of Flame Wars. Crafty bastards.

While we're on the 'I never used it' wagon, let's get rid of speed games, freestyle, 8player doubles, Prohibition Chicago, Q&A forum, this smiley ->, the Referral Program, the disable BB code checkbox, the topic review link, the rules link, and the instructions link. I mean hell, I never use them...
