Trust me to throw this into the mix being an Englishman, but although I appreciate how poor England's performance was, the momentum from drawing level 2-2 could have proved pivotal and would most likely have swung the game in England's favour. Regardless, these kinds of decision don't really need to happen. In his interview, Frank Lampard states that had the goal been rightfully given, it would have affected the teams totally.Timminz wrote:AT least neither of today's blown goal/no-goal calls haven't been deciders (yet).

Just like the U.S goals would have changed the group a lot. But We won it and screwed ourselves against Ghana. Germany was the better team but i totally agree it changes the whole mentallity of the game.obliterationX wrote:Trust me to throw this into the mix being an Englishman, but although I appreciate how poor England's performance was, the momentum from drawing level 2-2 could have proved pivotal and would most likely have swung the game in England's favour. It's just not necessary that a goal as blatent as Frank Lampard's should have been disallowed. It was a goal, and would have changed the game, not just because the teams would have gone in 2-2 at half time.
