p.s.... LSU's coughings already killed who they're going to ... I presume he can't cough after he's been lynched.

he went on a mad coughing spree just before he was killed. Since there were two people that died of disease day one and only one on day two, he might have another kill thats not taken effect yet. :?

With the recruiter is gone, does that mean one of his goons now steps up into recruiter role?

sorry for the thoughts over several threads, but it's 3:30am for me (gotta get used to east coast time somehow!)....

Why would XC be the most probable new recruit (if there ARE any new recruits)? Seems like it'd be just the opposite, since he's been the most voted out person still alive at this point. Only an ubernoob scum would recruit someone already in the limelight.

I shouldn't imagine so as whenever I've seen cults in games, the remaining members cannot recruit once the recruiter has been killed. It could be different though I suppose.

fastposted and I agree there that xencobra isn't that likely to be a possible recruit.

We said XC was a likely recruit because he had already claimed.

I don't remember who said it, but it definitely came up at least once.

Found it. Page 60.
XenCobra wrote:I never knew most vanillas are survivors, and I must of missed that post that says that. I said why, I claimed townie and not a survivor.

So could Willis, Talapus, Skoffin, Auto, etc. Anyone of them could of been a good recruit, not just me.

That's actually quite a good point.

Well, I guess nobody will be suprised by this but...denounce wicked. 8-
wicked wrote:ot;];]uot;wicked"]wow, if scum were smart, they'd leave you be in hopes you'd kill yourself off. that's a cool role I guess... do you have to go a direction each night? are there only the 4 cardinal directions?
This is wicked accepting Koesen's claim at face value.
wicked wrote:With the recruiter is gone, does that mean one of his goons now steps up into recruiter role?
This is wicked screaming: SINCE I AM NOT SCUM, I REALLY DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS! PLEASE MOD, GIVE ME THIS INFORMATION ABOUT HOW YOUR MAFIA CULT WORKS!

Also note that wicked was among the last to denounce Koesen. That brings me to the good news: I don't think that there is a second mafia. I think that the Vig killed Serbia, because (while I was reading Day 2) he seemed to be defending Koesen (voted Jake in response to his voting Koesen.)
Also note that 4 people who denounced mandy 1.0 were: auto, Wicked, N8freeman and Koesen. Two of those people were scum. Auto I am suspicius of, but Wicked went after Koesen during Day 1 wich would make her a good recruit. Distant second would be Talapus because of his superior gameplay, so, in the words of many 1.0: I would like to denounce him out of sheer paranoia. However, since this is a game full of Survivors, I am not ready to advocate massacre just yet.

lol surprised it took ya that long to denounce me mandy. no worries though. I'll have to reread this all when I'm not so tired (trying to get my body on east coast time now!). for the record, I dont' recall ever playing in a game with a cult recruiter, hence my lack of knowledge in this particular area. And we all know I'm usually too lazy to go look anything up, hence my question.

Neutrino, you must have missed it, I explained twice why Wicked and XC were likely recruits.
wicked wrote:p.s.... LSU's coughings already killed who they're going to ... I presume he can't cough after he's been lynched.
Well, maybe he did it just to scare us off. I'm not too sure.
wicked wrote:With the recruiter is gone, does that mean one of his goons now steps up into recruiter role?
I doubt so, except if tonight's kill was really vig-made...

I'll repeat one more time my point about XC and Wicky, because if there's votes that aren't popping out of thin air, it's these ones :P

Day 1 we killed the goon. No kills the following night. Exile already explained how it worked: if alone the recruiter has to choose between a NK and a recruitment attempt. I think it's highly probable he really was alone, considering the number of survivor roles that were having a special twist when recruited, I don't think the cult started with 3 members.
Day 2 LSU kills the cult leader.

Thus, the cult leader could get one recruit. XC is the obvious choice, because he claimed "normal" townie. Then babbles about him not being a survivor way after (thanks for finding that PCM, it had totally slipped my mind). It doesn't matter if he had a lot of votes at the end of day 1, what would be the chances for that to repeat itself? I say slim. He was the only to claim townie on day 1, what cult recruiter wouldn't want a sure recruit when left alone right from the start?

Then, my point about Wicked. Both N8 and Koesen voted her for slim reason. She helped getting N8 lynched. She's the one that looks the most like a townie out of day 1 events. Add to that the fact she supported the "a lynch a day" guideline, which hints a bit at survivor role. It's a less obvious recruit than XC, but a pretty good one for Koesie to make. Then there's the following behavior pointed out by Mandy, that fits with the whole 'recruited at night 1' theory.

I'm confident about one of these 2 being scum. I believe we have a chance at ending this today without having to lynch 90% of the remaining people. If it doesn't work, well there's only one NK so it's not risky anyway.

Why would the recruiter want a "normal" townie, when he could've gotten one that had powers activiated when he was recruited? Someone said yesterday certain townie roles get powers unlocked when recruited.

BTW, I don't think XC is a high value recruit, but if you guys think so and want to lynch him, I'll go along with that. I'm more suspicious of Auto - I've never seen him submarine so much. Maybe just RL stuff before, who knows.

Yes, but in day 1 this wasn't brought up at all. Neutrino was a regular survivor in the day kills, and even if Koesen knew according to the first Inquisition that there are such roles, the choice would have been pretty random. I don't think he would have chosen randomly when having his back against the wall right off the start.

btw ga, I did initially support the one lynch a day idea, but after it was explained how that would help scum, I changed my tune. It should be quite obvious if you care to reread.

Auto has now had to be replaced by Neutrino, I guess hes got some RL stuff that prevented him from playing the game.
