nope, but good try

ok, this guy lost his original scholarship and was picked up by Eddie Sutton, who has a penchant for grabbing questionable character guys in the name of "second chances"

whether this player actually was a questionable character guy is up for debate....hope that helps

hmm... nope doesn't help. If you give me his last name, I probably couldn't give you his first. Basketball (especially college) just isn't my thing.

sorry dude, i didn't say it was a college basketball question b/c i'm an idiot. i would estimate that this guy's story would be known by die hard college basketball fans, especially of the ACC.

he was drafted this year by the bulls in the 2nd round. he did set the NC scoring record 3 or 4 years ago, then went to OK State

hope that helps......

ok hell, i'll give it away then. sorry for such a toughie, but i thought someone might remember his story.

the dude's name is JamesOn Curry (correct spelling). he shattered the state scoring record (Jordan, McCants, Stackhouse, and many more famous guys aren't high in the rankings).

he then signed to play for roy williams and the tarheels. however, he was arrested for selling weed at school, and his scholarship was revoked. he was then picked up by eddie sutton at oklahoma state. curry led the team to sweet 16 as a freshman point guard. he had a nice career there and got drafted in the 2nd round this year by the bulls, leaving after his junior year.

the sad part is, from what i've read, curry was more a victim than a criminal in his weed conviction. apparently, an undercover officer tried to get some weed from curry for more than a month. finally, curry provided it and was busted. the impression i got from the story was that curry wasn't a regular dealer, he just scored some weed for a friend who couldn't find it as easy as curry could. who hasn't done that? you're really acting more as a middleman than a true dealer there.

but curry got busted anyway. seems like he was targeted for entrapment. hmmm, i wonder if the sheriff was jealous of this kid's ballin' skills....

alrite, i pick incandenza to give us the next question, but you gotta check this thread more than once a week, douche

Yeah yeah yeah. :D

New question (kinda of an easy one):
Name the kid from the Bronx who pitched a perfect game in Little League, only for people to discover that his dad had falsified his birth certificate, making him seem two years younger than he actually was.

Bonus question: name the position a young Incandenza primarily played during his ill-fated Little League days.

Ill post a question to keep it rolling:

When Michael Jordon won 7 straight NBA scoring titles, two players took turns finishing second. Name the seven time runners-up.
