Great series. The final game #7 was ugly but that's because both teams were scrapping from the beginning. Wow, what a finish and Kobe wins his 5th. Did anyone watch his post-game interviews? He definitely is still bothered by the whole fiasco with Shaq.

Thanks for the love. I wouldn't be me if I didn't complain though. Joey Crawford for games 1,5 and 7. Could they be more obtuse? Then in the 4th, to start out they give Gasol a cheesy and one. The three free throws to Kobe should have been before the shot if they were going to call it at all. Then down 70-74, they give Gasol 2 points when he comes down before shooting on what was clearly a travel. Then at 79-76, we get the stop on a long Kobe 3 and Gasol is allowed to push off of Rondo's face to get the ball.

They get the ball back to Kobe, he goes to the hole wildly and gets bailed out by the refs and takes Wallace out of the game. What happened to the age old philosophy the refs shouldn't decide the game? Fine, even if it was a fould they make the call. But at least call it both ways when the Lakers foul on the next play.

We still make it 81-79 and when Rondo is about to complete his steal, Kobe is allowed to push him so that we cannot get the final possession to tie or win. The ref is right there looking and for good measures, Joey Crawford is straight down the baseline looking at it all go down.

Theres more then just "statistics' ...they can be manipulated...shit look at CC...I could get 85% for my win percentage if I target noobs, play same map, etc...that does not mean I am a good player...

The Celtics are a great team with amazing defense...Kobe won MVP because of the "intangibles" that don't show up in the stat sheet: keeping the team focused, motivation, as well as all the rebounds and defense mentioned by Incandenza....that being said this was Instant Classic for sure
