I can't remember if I have said this before, I really like this tournament. The protion/ relegation means you are generally matched with players of the same skill level and with random maps, its not won by someone with a bizarre home map, and with so many random games a players luck tends to even out accross the same tournament.

I was pissed at my showing in the 2nd league, getting demoted again to the slush. I came back with a vengeance, going 5-0 in the first 5. These next 5 look to be tougher, but I will hopefully come out 8-2 through the first 10. Too early to make any solid predictions though.

Tiebreakers are not 1v1 games if multiple people are tied. Sorry for the confusion. From the first post:

Any ties during the demotion & promotion stages will be settled by a face off game (random).

The four player game is correct.

If the tie is between 2 it's 1 vs 1. If its 3 players it's 3, 4 it's 4 etc.
We've used this method since the start.

Trying to wait for this to finish. Last check the tiebreaker was in Round 9. However, I may start a few more Icey League and Frost League games shortly and Slush can play catch up a little bit.

Yes. There are also the two GA Medals. One for winning the most games in the whole tournament and another for beating the most unique opponents.
