Really? I believe it was Mitch who started all the confusion. Why are you falsely accusing Tim for this? I was quietly awaiting someone to build a case against Tim (based on almost nothing), you did and I find it highly suspicious. Are you trying to look as Towny as you possibly can, by listing all those (real and imaginary) arguments for us?

@ rizky, you strike me as an intelligent person, which makes me wonder... are you really confused or trying to hide behind the easy 'I am a noob and don't know what to do' statement, while actually being scum?

Don't worry about wcw for now. I don't think he's not posting because he's scummarining--he seems legitimately absent as the mod has confirmed. That said, I hope he's not scum because it's impossible to get a read on him.

pt, I like the effort you're putting into a case on Tim, but I have to admit, I'm not feeling it. I see his actions more as a new player rather than someone deliberately trying to scum things up.

However, I couldn't help but notice that skw hopped right on board your case though without much comment.

Granted, skw had already placed a vote on Tim and this was just making sure his vote was on. But I still would have expected a little more analysis of what pt had just said given that it was the longest case we've had today.

It got me looking at skw's posts and at first he just seemed to agree with everyone, even on opposite sides of an issue (see mitch v. aage exchange). Then gets into a little back and forth with Tim over the softclaim thing and eventually puts his vote on Tim "given what has happened so far" (see link above). Maybe this it's because I'm just not reading Tim as scum, but skw's actions strike me as someone who was trying to buddy up to people early and then he's forcing pressure on a player making newbie mistakes.

This isn't a super strong scum read on my part, but I finder it scummier than anything else I've seen this game.

I already mentioned that I was waiting for someone to build a case against Tim, because I am not feeling it... just like Epi. I am not defending Tim, I am accusing the accuser.

I throw the REALLY back at you. I go make an analysis. Which I think to be strong. Its a accumulation of the facts that make him suspicious and then you throw it out of the window because its noobish. Ive played with Tim before and hes anything but a noob. He owned me, dakky, and endgame in my last game when he was mafia. Im not letting him do that again. Im sticking to my instincts and my guns at this point. Dakky pushed people away from Tim just like you are doing with this post and the one going back at mitch. Im not falling for "oh hes just a noob anymore" thats horse shit reasoning. Come up with something a little better. Also, you dont respond to any of my other good points but just brush them off because one seems outlandish to you.....really man...work on your analysis.

At this point we are half way through day one. We need reads not conjecture otherwise we dont get anywhere. I agree with you on Risky he needs to step up. Since he decided to play this game, he needs to read up on it. This is only my third game but Im working on it by reading about the game and then playing to gain experience. just muddling around confused doesnt help anyone.

Also, I would like people to start giving reads. We need to begin deciding who is most likely scum. End in my last game came up with everyone throwing reads like I did on people. I found that very useful. Also it gets people thinking of who is scum rather than just muddling around and pointing fingers haphazardly.

My bad epi was the one pointing tim as noobish and yes still a little butt hurt from last game when i was right on my reads but didnt stick to them do to pressure.

As you said, I was making sure, I could not remember if I had previously unvoted, before voting Tim, so I wanted to be certain. This is what I meant after seeing what he wrote:

Besides, I agreed with everything else PT said, I had nothing to add to it--and I'm not always the best at analysis, I'm doing the best I honestly can here. I fully admit that probably looks scummy, it's probably why more experienced players nearly always seem to say that they find me scummy.

As for agreeing with people, perhaps, I tend to think more in the moment than long-term, and as each said their piece, I could find no real holes in their logic.

But then, Tim was, as I recall, my OWN idea, thank you very much, and voting for him was not buddying up to anyone. If anything, it put me out there as one of the first serious votes in the game. Tim is not a pure newbie, so I judge him more harshly than someone like Aage, who, as far as I know, has never played a game in their life. And as for Mitch? I just don't find him all that scummy at the present time.

Of course, I admit my read on Tim is about as strong as you have stated your is read on me; if I find someone who makes a more blatantly scummy move, I will gladly vote them, if I honestly believe it is a scum-tell.

Just so you know, Aage is the most experienced mafia player here. So, judge him very harshly.

We need to hear more from Aage, wcw/replacement, and risky. That's 1/3 of the players we aren't going to be able to get a read on if they don't look alive.

I think wcwnww is simply not playing and we should wait for replacement. It doesn't seem logical to me that a complete noob is not posting at all even if he is scum.

Aage has at least posted something, although it's not much.

Rizky only comments on the difficulty of the game. Maybe he is unsure what to do as mafioso. Since Streaker invited him, it would be an easy step for him to ask Streaker a few questions about the game, so...

i dont know what to make of it... you all make good points and arguments i am constantly changing my mind about who i think is suspicious..

mad mitch seems to be making his way through the list accusing tim, aage... and now bosaard for possibly being tims partner in crime despite bosaard firstly calling tim suspicious for not reading the setup.. also throwing in other mafias and roles that were never mentioned doesnt help me lol..

i cant work out tim.. i dont know if he is suspicious or if pt and subtle are trying really hard to make him look suspicious by exaggerating his comments and making us read more in to them... also subtle voting for pt at the start and then unvoting may have been a decoy.. im suspicious of everything now do u see why i am having so much trouble coming up with posts

bos seems to be trying to work it out but i dont know if he is just making good points about people that arent guilty because he knows who is.. but at the moment i think safe

aage hasnt really said much... other than a few comments early on and then a comment about not much happening on day 1 so i dont have much on him

Thanks for posting your thoughts. I am having the same problems as you. Everything can be looked at from two sides. I think you and I have the same train of thought so far and we agree on a lot of thinks, including the jokevote from Subtle on Ptlowe, that lasted for about 12 minutes. For now, you are no longer suspicous to me.
