Just updated the list, and hopefully it's not incorrect :)
I'm leading division 1 right now, with Shai a close second.
Many close races in the other divisions as well..
The last 4 games decide it all, for all 3 groups left!

I meant thanks for clearing the issue by winning ...
In case of a draw what's the verdict? (I might be able to pull of a World 2.1 victory somehow)
How is the second round played?

Hi Guys
i guess by the message you could tell inonzuk is shai
I was taking his turns over the weekend and posted while logged on to his user... sorry for the confusion, I'd have to be quite a sorry player to be a multi with such a low score :-)

Thank you all for joining.

Sadly, only the top 6 could make it to the finals!
However, we have a 3 way tie for 6.

So, as it stands right now, the 5 finalists are:
1. igotaished 15 Games Won in group 2 (1st place in division)
2. Lector 14 Games Won in group 3 (first place in divison)
3. Katya 11 Games Won in group 4 (first place in division)
4. john1099 10 Games Won in group 1 (first place in division)
5. subprime 12 Games Won in group 3 (second place in division)

I have left an e-mail with the previous organizer of the tournament, to see what he thinks that we should do with the 3 way tie.

As it stands right now the 3 that are tied for 6th are:

6. befera 10 Games Won
6. goggles paisano 10 Games Won
6. kendoh99 10 Games Won

Congrats to all.
Please make sure that I have not mistakenly given the wrong person a win.
I will leave this until Wednesday, at 9, and then I will create the final games, and PM everyone.

Thanks everyone for playing in this tournament, and making it such a joy to run thus far!
Have a wonderful evening.

-John

John, great job with the tourney!!!

Why not have a playoff game with the 3 guys tied for 6th? Then the winner of the playoff makes the final round....

Also, can we play the final the same way we played the first round, ie, 15 games at a time......if one of us needs to play 45 games at once, it might cause some ppl to miss turns due to the fact that they might not have enuf time to play each game if there 24 limit draws to an end.

Thx!

Yes, there will be a playoff for 6th place.
1 game, that none of the players have won.
I will do some great research, then PM the players in question, after I put the maps into random.org.

The finals will be the same as the first round. 45 games into 3 time frames, about 5 days apart.
Since it is the finals, we'll have more time to play around with the games, because we can simply discuss in the game chat of one of our games.

Thanks,
-John

Thanks for hosting the tournament John, it has definitely proved my favourite I've joined so far (and the best organised).

Pity about the group stage result....

John, please tell me we're not including Doodle Earth. With 6 players it would be a complete game of luck.

I played like a complete loser and aimed for second place, look where that got me...
I was sure top 2 advance...
Well, PM me when number 4 starts :-)

My suggestion is that the 3 fine players in question should all advance. This coming from a completely impartial party.
