The doctor could protect the cop militant, and it would be worth it to take out a mafia anyway, since that would leave only 1 mafia guy left (in this game at least)

Well presumable there are 3 other players who could also all be mafia? (7 players, 1 doctor, 1 cop, 1 lynched, so / + 3 others. However, in the interests of not making the doc's identity more obvious, I'll go with / too.

Sorry although your votes did save me last round, it seems to me that you are trying too hard to take all blame away from yourself by distraction (such as trying to get role claims and saying not to lynch townies) so you may kill them at night once you get their trust and learn their roles.
Even if Eddie or another inactive Mafia is lynched it wouldn't give the town the advantage since that would give the active mafia member a full night kill power.

I know this supposed to be helpful, but my complete n00biness hinders my understanding.

/- The only people I've asked to roleclaim are browng, who was basically claiming cop himself anyway, so the doctor would know to protect him and it would be obvious if he was lying, and you, who were on lynch -1. I don't know why the votes are flying about, but Eddie35 is the only one who hasn't posted since Day 1, after hammering NES. I can't see a better case for lynch than his.
