From what I've seen, and from what he's explained, it's pretty obvious it was a typo. He said "mafia and scum" instead of "mafia and town." The guy may be new but if you read one of his posts you can tell he isn't stupid. So for that reason alone I doubt he is scum and I think it's kind of ridiculous how paranoid people are.
But that said, just because that wasn't necessarily a scumtell doesn't mean he isn't scum. And since he has a lot of votes, I'll call for him to claim. Then we'll have something to go on.

People you gotta keep the activity up- you know who you are, even though it's a big game everyone needs to keep talking. Two or three posts per day is nowhere near good enough.

yes here's my claim, but i don't think it will help me.
i'm just a survivor. not on anyone's side. if any of you don't know like i didn't, i just have to be alive by the end of the game, regardless of who wins.
when iliad first told me i was a survivor, i thought SURVIVORS was a faction. hehe.
but i am a doctor. can protect every night
i think i'll be lynched, cos i don't really help anyone...may you have a great game
i am the "Governor of the Aceria Forests"
Slightly off topic but it really pisses me off when people do this
If you could care less you are saying it is somewhat important to you. The phrase you are looking for is couldn't care less. [/grammar nazi]
Ahem.. anyway this may be a newbie but it is a newbie who's admitted he's not town. Lynch lynch lynch imo
Being a grammar Nazi on these forums is almost as stupid as going to an A.A. meeting and preaching against drinking, we all know the subject at hand its just that most of us don't care (or, that we could care less, ).
Also, I'll have to FOS: icedagger, lynching new players for minor screw-ups (juxtaposition of a word) is a poor show. Now if you wanted to lynch him because of his claim (survivor/doc, lol) that would be a whole different story but your pushing his lynch based on a semantics mistake says to me you're just lynch-happy and most likely scum looking for an easy kill to get us into night. Pushing a lynch on an obvious new player mistake for no other reason then he's a new player screams scum, at least to me.
Now, after all that: unvote, vote: haoala. A Survivor lynch is a good, safe lynch for day 1.
The combination of survior doc in any other game sounds fishy but I looked up his role in a 40k guide and if I were mod I would even think about giving him a one shot rez (the warhammer guide said something about additional manpower). Him being a neutral doc gives him more options to who he'd like to save. I do believe that because of all the factions that the groups are small. It would be easy for a doc to keep under the radar and last till endgame with immunity to NK's giving him a good shot at winning for his faction as opposed to taking the glory for himself. I did forget to look for a medic or healer while looking at the guide and I can't right now. Him being a survivor gives some insight as to why he was confused. It is a bit OP being a survior doc because of said NK immunity and being a survivor he would want to keep his powers for himself.
I believe that right now it's hard to fake a roleclaim. Everyone is alive and can call bluffs. I believe him but I've decided to stick with my gut and keep my vote on him. I will not have a repeat of MoM. That and it's a safe lynch too. Btw I'm still after you pancake for that.
Also, I stick by my theory that there is no town until proven otherwise.
I AM MASTER SHEEP, TEH AWESOME

There are units that would totally be docs. Apothecary for SM and Mad Dok for Orcs are the two that I can think of off the top of my head. I'm gonna rethink what I said before now. A doc/survivor role just makes no sense mechanic wise. Someone who is trying to outlive everyone else isn't gonna want to protect them. They want endgame to come as quickly as possible, so protecting anyone would be dumb. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't but a doc survivor isn't that bad a loss since as a survivor ideally he wouldn't protect.
The governor tried to retain his composure. He had some serious confusion about how he should act, and on whose side he should work for. The rest of the forces on Kronus noticed it, and pretty soon the mob took him to the gallows.
Haoala-Governor of the Aceria forests-doctor has been lynched

A Tau Etheral or an Eldar Farseer or Warlock or possibly a Sanctioned Psyker could work too. Not sure that every faction has been given one. The Doc role isn't really fitting for neither Orkz nor Imp Guards but I'd expect Eldar to have one.
GG haoala, no hard feelings I hope. Feel free to PM someone in the game for tips/feedback if you like.

Im confused is this a faction or was he actually third party?
Well, that was a load of bollocks. A doctor is a doctor and people went ahead and lynched him anyway. The only thing he could have done was stop night kills, so the only roles he could affect are vigs (there might be one or two in the game), 3rd party killers and scum killers (which I am willing to wager there are a lot of in this game).
Great work everyone! You sure showed that new player not to make a typo and especially not to claim honestly!

Well I was just thinking of units with actual healing abilities. Any of the builder units for all the races can repair.
As for haoalalala, honestly I didn't believe him. Survivor doc just isn't a good idea game mechanics-wise. If I was a survivor with doc powers I would never use it. Doesn't make sense. More kills=quicker endgame. And docs usually can't protect themselves so that does not increase your own survivability at all.

yeah but it woul be helpful if you protected the same faction every night to help them win and bring the game to an end quickly. Of course that could backfire if you protect the wrong person/group but thats the risk.
