He had delivered the message that has been sent by his lord Richard and now was hurrying back as he didn't believe that without his presence right now, Richard would be able to hold on. As he was riding towards the port, his horse suddenly steered leftwards and he fell on the ground.
"My God, what's wrong with this horse? Comeback now!"
Yet, that didn't happen. Deeply saddened, Robert started walking down the hill when he suddenly felt very chilly air and something unnatural surrounding him.
"I shall not fall without a fight!"
And that he didn't... But he was no match for the being.

Edocsil, Robin Hood - Sherwood's hero, has been killed during Night 4.

An old man with a beard has been walking down the street. He's been a busy man - especially as of recently. The man has taken the business from his father, the old De Boer. He has learnt everything that he knows from his father. Far, far away in his own thoughts, Reginald De Boer never noticed a man following him... Not that he would have noticed him even if he would have been paying attention. He finally walked into a bar for his well deserved rest - he had been making deals every night with different people and he thought that tonight he'd finally get some rest.
Not so long after he got asked a rather odd question by a man who was sitting right by him the whole time:
"Dear Sir, I believe you are the same famous Reginald De Boer who has been wheeling and dealing in our city lately?"
"Well, yes, yes I am" - De Boer answered.
"That's all I wanted to know" - the other man smiled and left the bar.
After ordering his drinks and staying for a while, Reginald started feeling really dizzy. He was surprised with himself - he normally could take much more ethanol than this!
"My dear fellow barman, by any chance I could get some help to get to my safety haven - I believe I have absorbed slightly too much of this wonderful ale that you have"
"No. You've done enough damage to this city as it is, Reginald - tonight you will not be leaving this inn."
Indeed, Reginald did not last more than another 30 minutes when he finally died out of extreme pain... Something ate him from inside.

As Reginald's body was carried out of the inn, Thomas Aquinas could not help but cry... He had plans to meet up with De Boer and ask for some financing of his newest project... But now all of it lay in the ruins. Just as he was to enter the Cathedral, a man with an arbalest, dressed in black and with a long cape approached him.
"I normally like one of your kin, but you have something about you that doesn't click" - the man said.
"I don't understand what you are talking about, good Sir!" - the priest answered.
"You have not acted to the Church standards and you shall be punished."
"God knows all and I would just enter the Eternal Kingdom... The only thing that would happen is that lots of deeds would not be done... And dear citizens would be in trouble."
"It does not matter in the bigger picture" - said the man just as his bolt pierced through the priest. "Good riddance"


Auerola's do tend to be not the most effective weapons against crossbows.

So it would seem Saladin does not have any killing ability and thus would be treated as more of a third party townie.

The shadow uses poison possibly and was probably responsible for the death of shaggy.

It is possible the shadow was responsible for the death of edoc, but also the vampire. This would mean a vampire has made a kill in the past two nights but not before.

Also I was super wrong about Fircoal, my bad guys.

Theme wise I really don't think it matters at this point. The range of characters is so extreme we'll all be dead before we figure it out at this rate. I have no clue the reason or why's as to what characters were used but three deaths last night is huge. It's difficult though because it isn't clear how exactly some of them died. It does sound like there could be a possible vampire left but it isn't truly clear like GT said. But two nights now the vamp has killed. The shadow looks like he is still running around but Fircoal's death is kinda odd. You seemed awful convinced there GT and turns out he was a priest. Mass claims may assist us at this point because we can't endure another night like that. But with so many characters, I'd think fakeclaiming for scum would be very easy. Granted, I really didn't believe the pikachu claim earlier in the game, and still find it odd compared to everyone else, but it was real. I truly am just not sure at this point the best course of action. Does anyone remember off the top of their heads if characters were listed in so day scenes that may have encountered vampires during the night but didn't die? Just thinking it might get us a lead on a vampire recruit, but would have to look back and reread the scenes.

Going back through the scenes I did not see any obvious situations where someone would have encountered a vampire and not died.

I also don't think it is entirely fair to say I was too strongly assured of Fircoal, in fact I think I post something to that effect toward the end of day 4 when prompted by strike.

The point was we did not have a whole lot of information about anyone and what they were up to, all we had was some flavor spec. Which is more or less what we still have, granted commander seems to write a lot into his scenes.

Also it is worth noting Van Helsing is probably the person who killed AOG, Naxus, DoomYoshi and Fircoal going off the use of the same weapon in all of the scenes.

There does appear to be a special holy bolt that is used on night 2 that does not appear again.

Rodion was apparently attacked by a vamp n1 and became a vamp though it wasn't specifically stated in scene and there is no evidence that the remaining vamp (Dracula?) Can recruit but we know he can kill...I have no idea who the shadow could be as far as character. As far as the "holy bolt" gt refers to...there was a silver bolt used on the werewolf though I had kind of written it off as flavor for the scene.

For my specific notes on scenes something like this:

Day 1 lynch: shield-romeo (lover)
N1: godfrey attacked/protected by aog-Henry Chavalier (templar bodyguard?)-van helsing the killer?
Rodion-Jacques Chevalier witnesses death. Recruited by Pcm-Nosferatu.

I think it would be interesting to know if Saladin/Doom Yoshi attacked Godfrey N1. That would eliminate swords from possible night kill abilities, leaving us will supernaturals and van helsing.

i am thinking tat talapus is right that the range of chacactors is too extreme for us to even consider a mass claim as i believe this would not help us at all. but if we can figure something about the theme it will help us figure out this game better. and as far as trying to make a case i am not any help as i have not enough evidence to make a decent case on anyone.

This sounds a lot like something someone who fears a mass claim would say.

I honestly think gimil is one of the players most worthy of a vote, because if you are harping only about figuring out the theme on Day 5, you are entering the range of deliberatly confusing meaning for players.

It is equally if not more important at this point that we start tying players to actions or possible allegiances than simply figuring out what characters we have in the game.

We think that it is very likely there is a shadow character and a vampire (less likely but certainly hinted at) left in the game. There is also strong evidence of characters Van Helsing and Saladin as well. This is a good deal of flavor knowledge, but it doesnt help us with who actually has these roles. I've never seen a game where we could vote a character and get a lynch instead of a player.

ok, I was trapped in a dungeon for two weeks and had to survive off water drop lings and cellar mice. Sorry it took me so long to get back into this game. One thing that'll help me is this: Who do we still have left in this game and how many players is it?
I think that'll help us to try and find who might be anti-town.

Also, I'd like to say because of my absence and the kills that happened anyway that it couldn't have been me who made the kills (unless you secretly believe I did have internet access during those 2 weeks, which I didn't).

Anyway, I found one thing got tonka said rather suspicious. he said something like "but you've got the wrong guy!" when talking about saxlad. I'm guessing it's because he was stronly urging a fircoal lynch but if not, maybe it's because he has inside info? (this was a few pages back before saxlad got hammered)

After giving it some thought I think my initial case on bleed yesterday is still the strongest. To review:

Most of this was made day 2 and I just never got around to posting it so at this point some of this might be a bit out dated but I did try to go back through and edit where it needed to be.

Only non-joke vote post of day 1. Though he has given what appears to be a legitimate reason for absense.

The Rodion argument was also interesting (yes I know he was scum but some things about his argument still hold true) it is not 100% fool proof but it does seem to show that Bleed did lie about what he knew of the game.

Where did you dig up such info? We don't know if Juliet is scum or not, she isn't dead ( yet ). How would a scum character from Romeo and juliet be so improbable? It's a little early to make such speculations.

You misunderstood me. I'm not saying a scum character from Romeo and Juliet is improbable. I actually said just the opposite. I said that I could only see a 3rd Romeo and Juliet character if that 3rd character was not pro-town.
I guessed (pure speculation) that we had either:
a) Romeo town, Juliet town, 3rd character anti-town
b) Romeo town, Juliet mafia, 3rd character not-town
c) Romeo town, Juliet whatever, no more characters from this book/play

I considered the possibility of Bleed being a pro-town Romeo and Juliet character close to inexistent (but still possible, that's why I made him the question instead of instantly presenting a case on him), so I decided to question him and likely get an answer that I considered scummy, which is exactly what happened.

I am not sure how me telling you that my character was not a part of Romeo & Juliet made me scummy, I did not hide from your question. The only real fact that you have against me is that I was unable to determine the scope of the game like you were. This is easily done for your vast experience to the game and me just learning.

Note all you want but I would like to you to find where I even voted him the first time? It never happened because like I said I below which came from page 59.. But I do what Rodion has requested, I do believe that he is town and this will clear him.

the case on Rodion, I still do not by it especially for a lynch to see if his powers are true. The reason for this is he pointed out 2 key things that will result in his death, 1st if we lynch him he will blow the horn and ultimately save his lynch (but as the literature goes it was to late and he dies anyways) so there is a 50/50 chance that he will live. If he lives then he still holds the role as a mason, this has now given the mafia role that they may want to use there NK on.

I am reading but still can't get my head around the setup of this game...

I am having a huge issue with the way you are playing this game. And I believe that you are using Pikachu and the Pokemon to deter away from the actual game.

When going back and reading all of your posts, everything prior to page 22 was normal posting without any reference to pokemon or pikachu, but on pg 22 which was already D2 you brought him to light.

So it looks like three things. Three Night Kills.

Night Kill 1- Directed at Godfrey but some sort of bodyguard perhaps?
Night Kill 2- Directed at the Bodyguard, he died.
Night Kill 3- directed at the shadow, but the shadow was un nkable. (So we have to lynch him.)

This is not your usual mafia. pika is it chu?

They out of know where you claimed to break up the Shakesperian theme game but it was already decide quite a long time back that the them was vast with a whole bunch of elements and characters brought into the mix, as well at that time there were no discussions about Shakespeare (you were either skimming substantially or diverting_

I don't actually have anything against the logic itself but I do find the timing of it a bit suspect (there wasn't really a bandwagon against him but posting pattern was clearly shifting against him) and the aforementioned reasoning about trying to get a quick day against the people on this case.

Target, I voted for him for skimming and I feel a blatant attempt to divert the town from actually trying to uncover anything. If you look at his post there is nothing of substance.

It obviously would not make a whole lot of sense to lynch saxlad. He would pretty much have to be a jester from his behavior. Jesters are not really a very big concern considering all of the things we should be looking out for.

I would be more inclined to see if we cannot figure out who might be the last vampire if there is one or who the new leader of the werewolves is. And obviously we are still missing a shadow, so perhaps players who have been lying low are a better use of our efforts than sax.

He is stating that he is not a Jester. I am not against pressuring the inactives right now. The is one that stands out in my mind and that is Shaggy. His last 3 post were just to state that he has nothing to add, as well that he had finals which schools in more important but he stated that they were finished on the 15th and once completed he would be more active and I have yet to see that. Honestly, I feel like I've already said this but no one is going to out right say they are a jester, unless maybe they are a reverse jester and looking for town to NK them but that's wifom. So it's sax or an inactive and nothing in between. there were still some cases for day 3 I don't see why defaulting to an inactive would be your stance unless you don't want to try making too many actual stances in the game and watch it come back to bite you in the arse.

No I definitely am going to give him some more time since it is only the 17th, but just stating that for submarining he is one of the guys that is on the top of my list. Just trying to see who else is on the towns radar for this...

Now that the sax wagon is losing steam are you already looking for the next popular bandwagon to jump on? It would save you the trouble of committing to your own ideas and keep you below the radar...

Flawed logic is flawed. Wifom logic is WIFOM. We've been over the multiple scum factions argument before so the fact you may not be aligned with rodion directly does not disprove you are scum. i think I've already stated a wifomy rebuttal to that wifom statement about why he might have gone after you if you had been in the same faction.

As far as mass claim, we are definitely getting close to that point but with 15 left it may be a bit early for that. In either case whether town decides to mass claim or not I think I've personally given enough information already. Though if town feels it's necessary I will give my name. I do not know what you are looking for Strike here, I have already give my claim way back in the beginning, as for any roles I do not have any... I could care less about everything outside of my own writing. Like I stated this was only my second game that I have ever played and where my confusion came into play at the beginning, I was nearly asking questions and getting some looking for some guidance from seasoned pro's at that time. If I knew what this game was all about I would not have joined it and would have stuck to something a little more simple as well something I know.... Looking for a quick a lynch on TSL that was not the case, I just presented something that I found odd and out of place, that day was not going anywhere so I thought I would put what I seen as fishy and see what others thought.

As of right now I have learned quite a bit more about this game in general, and for this one I know that trying to figure out the flavour of the game is a lost cause and a waste of time, due to so many characters, plots and different outcomes I can never see any of us coming to an agreement of flavour, as for people trying to get others to look at that over and over again I would see going to the top of the scum list, I have to go back and see who keeps pushing for this.

Okay well it seems as though this whole game is going in circles.... Are we allowed to claim who we are? I mean honestly I am not sure if I should tell yall because you all keep talking about my character so I guess my character is somewhat important or something but I know Im not bad or anything. For the sake of this game and keeping things moving I would be more than happy to give you all a jump off point and tell you guys who I am.
