I don't think Iliad is defending himself very well with his "i'm not scum because I say so" but then it's about as much as I'd expect from him.

Let's see:
-Your name is associated with barzini's
-you role appears to be faked
-you're doing a shite job of defending yourself.
The third I could put down to you just being crap at mafia, but fine. vote iliad

I'm going to unvote Iliad. I don't see a direct connection between Iliad's role and the Barzini family. If I read the wiki correctly, he runs his own mafia family. I could see how with the two main mafia families being scum, any others would be town. I also think LSU and Talapus are town.
I need to reread this thread although I really don't feel like it. I'll be looking extra carefully at the people who were trying to get LSU/Talapus lynched a bit earlier. You know who you are.

The reason i think the wiki implies hes probably on the barzini side, is that given what we have found out about the game thus far, it seems highly unlikely we would not have unearthed a completely different crime family.

How does my role about to appear to be faked. Am I the only one who rememebers that there are 36 players in this game?
I am not assosciated with the barzinis. I don't know what wiki says but my role says Don Cuneo. Well what evidence has been against me except: I think he's scum because...well I do, and look guy A was a joat, and he claimed a joat so he MUST be lying.

Ok, I have not read the whole thread, just since the beginning of the current day.
I agree with GT that the activities of LSU that were pointed out in GT's Selin impression, do look scummy.
Tapalus is not stupid or inexperienced, so I believe him when he says he voted Iliad when he didn't know what he was doing. He would not openly admit that he voted to kill a claimed Pro town JOAT unless he was stupid or a jester, but I don't think Nag would put a jester in this game. I think it was a mistake that he did not think through properly.
Fos: Tapalus He seems very persistent in trying to change the subject from LSU to other players particularly on 85 while in discussion with GT. If he turns out to be anti town, I think there is a fair chance skoffin or icedagger may be town.
Ok, I don't want to see LSU or Tapalus die today, like Tapalus said, he will probably die in the night, if he does and he is town, that clears LSU, if he is scum or cult, LSU is the following day's lynch.
Regarding S_L's post:
Sierra_Leon wrote:@ Iliad: Looking at the list of dead people, I don't see a single role that's been used twice. So yes, I find it unlikely that there are two JOAT's in this game. Maybe in a non-vanilla game there would not be enough roles to give everyone a unique one, but since this game has vanilla townies to fill the missing roles I don't see nag giving two people the JOAT role.
Could you maybe repeat what your night-actions have been so far, and be kind enough to tell us your role name?
I will vote Iliad. I doubt there would be a second JOAT also.

if it was a cop, and the town cop died while the other guy got accurate results, we'd suspect he was a mafia cop. Same logic.

but there are 36(!) players! Am I the only one missing that point?
All the evidence against me is stuff I could not control, it's stuff which my role pm said. IF(IF!) I was scum why would I come out as a joat and tell everyone about my investigation? All I would be doing is outing myself to the cult, or mafia depending on which side you guys think I am.
It's not like that info was forced out of me, I stood out and said I was a joat and I used my investigation on him. (Stupid miller role, #2 hated behind jester)

is that supposed to be a defence? "All the evidence is stuff I couldn't control! I can't help that I got a scum role and or character/was recruited to cult!"

Which clearly you think gives you a free pass. But not if you're a scum (or cult) joat.

36 players which makes it very likely that there will be 2 joats. IT's not that I'm a mayor or something you can have more then 1 joat!
Name an actual accusation besides the joat thing. Because lynching me just cause I have the same role as another guy which is very likely in such a large game.

A claimed
Pro town JOAT would be the perfect target for a Cult. If a cult leader recruited a JOAT, no one would question there allegiance without looking really scummy (trying to lynch pro town players) and that would be one less player that could take out the leader or help town out. And there has already been a JOAT, so why would that be the only role that appears twice (excluding mafia and the cult). Your case is a weak one
You fastposted me, but the first point of this post is another reason you are probably cult. I cannot see a reason why the cult leader would not try and recruit you.

And if he is a pro-town JOAT then he will lose his alleigence very shortlt. Lynching him is a Win-Win situation since he might not be town, and were also eliminating recruiters an extra JOAT. And if he's neither then it's just a good scum lynch.

I also think two JOATs in a game like this isn't very likely.. you'd think one would at least be a powerful JOAT or something. Character he linked could be town scum or even third party, assuming it is his character. LSU should probably be investigated tonight

Someone is a little too eager to hammer there. Too bad for you I unvoted in my last post, so Iliad should still be at L-1.
I'm still playing under the assumption that the cult can only recruit vanilla townies, so this talk about Iliad being recruited into the cult doesn't make any sense to me. It looks to me like some people realized that Iliad still has a vig kill left and want to get rid of him before he has a chance to use it.
I would like to request nobody hammers Iliad until I've at least gotten my chance for a reread. There's no deadline as far as I know, so no need to rush this. Until then, I'll leave my vote on mr. hammertime.

PS: it would be nice if somebody else removed his vote from Iliad too, so nobody can quicklynch him.

Sierra I might be getting this confused with another game, but I was under the impression players with their names in green could be recruited? If you look at the first post not all greens are vanilla

I think its rather easy to look at both ice and william now and put them under a fair amount of suspicion. I actually think we can still learn a lot if iliad ends up being our lynch.
1) he comes up as a protown joat - probably exile becomes more suspicious than he does before.
2) he comes up as some kind of cult - sierra perhaps is a little more suspicious and perhaps william or ice are a little less so.
3) he comes up as something different - got tonkaed goes to andy and takes one of his banana's and sits down somewhere and eats it.
