Anyway...
1. Classic, Europe, Middle Earth, North America, Middle East (revamp), British Isles, Australia, San Francisco, Africa, and Arctic
2. Sequential is fine, but I'm definitely in favor of a point or two bonus for knocking out an opponent
3. The cards thing is a tricky one. I could go on at some length, but suffice it to say that I'd prefer that the next 10 games be escalating or at least a mix of escalating and flat rate, with MAYBE 1 or 2 no cards games thrown in (but preferably not, as I already have enough never-gonna-end no cards games going at the moment...

)

Sorry Selin, youve done a great job here...but I litterally have only looked at this once or twice.
I have no real preferences...i technically would prefer no cards or flat, but escalating is fine, and have no problems with any maps that any have suggested...the bad ones have already been rejected...
so im good with whatever comes...sorry I cant be more help...

Question:
What if there is a tie in points between two or more players? Who will qualify for the next Round?
Answer:
For the first Round: Those players with equal points will play an extra match.
For the second/third Rounds: We'll first consider won matches in total. The one with higher won matches will be qualified for the next Round. If won games are equal, those players will play an extra qualifying match.

I'm going to apologize and admit to a 180% about face on game preference... I think we should go for full sequential, no card in the second round. The first round kind of grew on me after the 60-70th turn.
As to the 10 maps, I have no particular preference, but I would like Montreal to be kept out of the second round, and maybe British Isles added in?

My preferences:
1) include Cairns Coral Coast, Siege, Great Lakes and exclude Tamriel, Middle Earth, Africa. I liked those three new maps much.
2) sequential
3) all no card

1) no real preferences on maps... I can lose on any of them
2) sequential
3) combination of all three card options - variety here is good, keeps the games different
Thanks for running this thing and congrats on surviving to the 2nd round Selin.

i know exactly what you mean....having so many no cards with the same exact players in all of them makes the strategy even more tricky...you have to pay attention to what youre doing in every one against every player, so you know what to expect...we had some damn interesting games in our batch...very fun to watch some of them unfold...
i litterally cant wait for the next batch...i dont care if i win one of them, and i only played for tourney points in one of the games...the last one, to secure first in our group, because i just couldnt help myself, but i cant wait to play the players that will be in this next round....should just be awesome to see these unfold

The problem is this. Yeah, the no cards games get exciting eventually, but all but 2 of my pool's games are still going on.... that's 8 extra games that I have to keep track of, and at least a few of them don't look like they're ever going to end. I can't express strongly enough how opposed I am to having all ten games of the next round no cards, UNLESS some sort of official overall decision is reached that would allow each pool to end their games in a reasonably fair way.
Sorry. It's just that having a few games that go on for months is one thing, but having eight, in addition to the two other I already have in the ridiculously advanced stages, is too damn many.

Whaaaa? But those are the three I won on!
Can I protest Coral Coast? I don't like it very much. Great Lakes is okay. I like Tamriel too much for you to have your way!!! UP TAMRIEL!

I will summarize the preferences of all qualified players this weekend and make a suggestion for the second round.
The last match is at final round, so this weekend we will have final results in of Group B too.
