Very well. Sorry for breaking up your discussion of a separate game.nagerous wrote:Wow, spam much? Can we get back to the mafia? If you want to randomly talk pokemon you should do it in OT or something.
Wait, what?Mr. Squirrel wrote: Doubting freezie is ok, but its best done silently if you already know that it will lead to WIFOM. Hell, I don't even like mentioning it nowadays because it always takes town off on a tangent.

So I wake up not only AFTER joking is over (1 friggin night!), but also with 3 or 4 claims already!
FoS the mod for putting in a deadline and not telling us what it is. Scummy!

Vote: Streaker for ultra skimming.
Seriously, about 5 pages of substance and you can't tell there has been only one claim?

My point is that calling attention to a WIFOM situation will get us nowhere. WIFOM never does. At the moment I'm wary of freezie's claim too, but unless there is any information you can divulge that would lead us to believe he is lying, then there is very little reason to discuss his claim. You are experienced enough to know that.Haggis_McMutton wrote:Wait, what?Mr. Squirrel wrote: Doubting freezie is ok, but its best done silently if you already know that it will lead to WIFOM. How is doubting anyone "silently" going to do anything? How is not sharing your thoughts good for town?
Also, since when is it a bad thing to point out a situation is WIFOM-y? He might be telling the truth, he might be scum making a gutsy gamble, or he might need to let someone know his role for whatever reason(recruitment or what not) and choose this way to do it.
I find it interesting that you say: "You can doubt his claim, but don't voice those doubts, we wouldn't want the town at large to start doubting him too" ...

Are you incapable of reading what I said afterward? WIFOM situations waste the town's time and energy. I would rather not get into one so early in the game, especially when we have a mystery deadlinejonty125 wrote:3rd time luckyMr.Squirrel wrote:Doubting freezie is ok, but its best done silently

He's right. Its 24 hours for each player alive from the start of the day. So we have 3 weeks from the day scene to settle the lynch.DoomYoshi wrote:The observant players will know when the deadlines are. When it gets close, I will let everyone know. The deadline was announced in the rules.

Pokemons, no, but team rocket is inherently evil, as you said so.ShaggyDan wrote:Honestly, I think claims count for very little. There's no pokemon that are inherently evil. And abilities can be lied about. A lot of this comes down to good old fashioned scum hunting.
