I don't get it - why is it that we want a lynch D1 but no vig kills N1?

Because the vig is more likely to hit townies. And we get no benefit of claim or voting patterns to analyze.
And I never said we absolutely have to lynch Day 1, we're heading for a no lynch right now. But the important thing is that we get voting information and at least something to go off of on Day 2. Just blindly saying no lynch Day 1 and going straight to Night 1 is not helpful. We get some discussion and votes in, then we consider whether we want to lynch.

vigi could have limited shots too, so save them for when you are pretty certain

I think we have no chance of all of us voting for an extention so it seems unlikely. I would be in favour of it though.

I'm not convinced an extension would result in a lynch anyway. Right now we are way off even coming close to a lynch. Unless someone else steps forward to offer a concrete suggestion, I can't justifiable vote anyone. I don't want to kill a townie by accident and no one is really suspicious right now. Not a lot of info to go on. We did get a pretty interesting claim, and if true at least info for the next day.

I don't mind an extension but I don't think anything will change even if we get one. Right now I vote to keep the time line.

Wow Dibbler...
I'm probably gonna get flak for this, but vote Dibbler for trying to end day ASAP.
also, I would love an extension if that is at all possible.

I find it strange the Dibbler wants the day to end. Surely the best thing is for us to get as much info as possible going into day 2. No?
It seems scummy to me that Dibbler does not. He seems too keen for night here. Vote Dibbler

I just don't think that we will get any more info. If you want I'm ok with lynching I never thought this game would go for months but right now it is on that track.

How much time do we need? Lets either vote and get it done or go to night. Vote me, vote Admiral, vote Dazza. vote anyone but I really don't have any info to justify a vote for anyone. I just won't vote Admiral or Griff cause I am pretty sure they are town based on their declarations. I don't think they would have declared that role if they weren't

Dibbler, I'm not saying that we MUST have a lynch this round. What I'm saying is that it seems very scummy that you want the day to end now. I would much rather have the day go on longer and bleed out as much information as possible than to just end it now. Regardless of if we can manage to get a lynch or not, the more time we have during day, the more information we will have further down the road.

it appears to me that MoB has soft claimed mason/ vig. He mentioned town masons before Admiral Gaal claimed and then he mentioned that the vig might have limited shots.
unvote

The problem with having the day go on longer is that eventually we'll just pressure everyone in turn, leading to a massclaim eventually, and even if we do get a mafia lynch, the mafia will know exactly who the town PR's are and pick off the cops and docs.
To say that we should end day now is slightly suspicious, but if we deadline and end day with a no lynch, I do think it's been a productive enough day that we will have something to work off of tomorrow.

I just feel that since we started this game August 18th and it is now the 30th if each round were to go on even half as long this game will still be running in November. When I signed up I never imagined it would last even till the end of September. I signed up and will play this out till the end or when I get lynched or murdered but I didn't believe I was committing to follow this thread for that amount of time when I signed up. This is my first forum mafia game so I was unaware of the commitment.
If you want to lynch me cause I want to keep the game moving, then fine do so your choice. I just don't believe we will get any more information. I think we get more information from what happens at night then on the first day. Just my opinion.

me too! never played a mafia game IRL, but I have played (and modded

) many RT games here on CC. There are so fun! Although tbh I prefer to make a thread for an RT rather than do it in LC because in LC you can't see players' avatars (and you have more formatting freedom in the thread).
I hope you don't mind staying for a while. We all pitch in to make the game enjoyable, although sometimes it becomes like work trying to lock onto the scum targets.

If it's any consolation, the later days tend to go faster because there are fewer people alive and it doesn't take as many votes to get a lynch. Day 1 is always a drag.

clearly but I guess I really brought down the heat by suggesting we actually put a limit on how much it drags.
Its looking like I will have to claim too, that will be three in the first day. Is that normal?

It worries me a bit because we could be exposing town power roles to mafia kills. I'd wait for a vote count before claiming, I'm not sure where we're at and deadline may have passed already so an unnecessary claim will hurt town.

Yes I can confirm that AdmiralGaal is town mason with me... I am Jules Winnfield the other town mason

Thanks for confirming. If you want to post your thoughts about the game and even who you think mafia might be at any point feel free to do that too.

Huh? This is an argument against lynching anyone who isn't confirmed scum, and is pretty ridiculous. We didn't lynch admiral because he had a rock solid claim; that won't be the case for any scum or the vast majority of townies.
If Rodion isn't extending the deadline we won't get a lynch today and it's not the end of the world, but it would have been better if we had.
