OK Ragian - but it could also be that you're worried about your scum buddy being lynched. You were the 1st to vote BK and now you've retracted your vote when he gets to L-3.

Of course you could just be making the point that the quieter ones should be pressured, but it seems that BK is the town elected pressure guy for D-1....so let's get a claim.

I don't have a problem with BK claiming, Pershy I think that's reaching for straws. Even if he were my scummate (I'm not scum, I don't know what he is), what are the odds that he would claim scum?

I could just as well turn it around, saying that you're protecting your pancake scumbuddy by forcing BK to claim since scum know whose not scum (i.e. town/3rd party). It's doesn't really make sense at this point though. Is that what's called WIFOM?

Either way, as you well know, Pershy baby, we usually target silent ones and force a claim out of them. Shaggy, whom I felt wasn't around, rightfully pointed out that PCmix hasn't said anything since Tuesday. I'd rather force a scumariner to claim than an unknown, but present player.

Unless this is a reactions ploy then I don't see how we benefit from just getting a player to claim. Pretty weak? There is no real reason for it, at least when people give reasons and arguments (albeit weak ones) you can separate those hopping on the BW from those genuinely trying to do something. You know as well as anyone that if you get someone to claim for virtually no reason then you are back at square one, or else you pick someone on the BW to vote next. Right now I do not have enough to want BK to claim, and I am v surprised you are going along with this.

I think you're overreacting here, I never actually voted bk, I simply said I would be willing to vote him if we were going to.

Personally, I think pursuing ckyrias would have been better. Reason being that he bandwagonned, but then again, half the people in this game could be considered bandwagonners. So really, there's nothing substantive that I see, and between no lynching because we can't find anyone scummy and at least getting a claim to end day 1, I'll take the claim over the no lynch any day.

you're funny Rage - my pancake buddy! I'm gonna call pancake mix that from now on even tho I don't know whether he's on my side or not yet. I'll happily vote pancake too tho. At this point we haven't got much to go on. Why did people vote him in the first place? Oh yeah -for being quiet no? CK has been accused of bandwagoning.

OK. This is the first time I'm playing with many of you. I only have my clan games to go on, and they are often very similar on D1, because we all know each other so well. Gotta admit I was surprised to have so much attention come onto me for suggesting we move past the jokevote stage. That kind of a thing can give more information later on, for example on Day2.

I don't think I should claim yet. I'm at L-3. I went along with the vote on pancakemix to get him to participate, and he has now.

I would have to reread the ckyrias bit from the beginning, but his last post strikes me as a bit nervous.
