Which assumption is right? Dylan DeSoto/petewins1368 are going to lose 2 more points or they are done losing points?

Right, sorry. He has yet to have the two points taken off from the phillipines. Final score will be four, and bring The Islands down to 39.

Yes, you are still in it.

It has been going slowly towards the end of this round, hopefully the new starting format will speed things up (at least a little.)

Points from eliminated player?

What happens to those points? If they just disappear, this means that the team losing the 1st round is now at a much greater disadvantage (as instead of being just a few points down - they could be as much as 7 or 8).

If the team does get to keep the points, will they just sit there as part of the team's eliminated player bucket [unusable] or will they be distributed amongst the remaining members. Distribution would be difficult as it would be tough to decide who gets 0, 1, 2 or more points. The zero and more options are pessimistic/optimistic for later rounds.

For eliminated players, my plan is to leave their point contribution as is. Removing the points would, as Aerial Attack pointed out, give the team losing a player an even greater disadvantage.
Therefore, losing a player will not cost your team any points.

Good rate? This is going to be one huuuuuuuuuuuugeeeeeee tourney. The first round took 3 months. Thats one elimination, and theres 20ish remaining

haha i know i know. By "good rate" I meant that we don't have people bailing left and right like most tourneys that take months of commitment. We have an awesome man headin' the tourney, Gozar has done a great job of managing this tourney and I love the format, despite the length of time it will take to finish.
