imo the best patriot is the guy or gal who doesn't take every oppertunity available to rip their country. It is the person who loves their country in spite of its flaws. Disagreeing with govornment is one thing but a reasonless burning hatred for your President is another.

I think your question answers itself. If you don't have a flag on your door and you don't hate the islamofascists (which is the wrong term, they're more zealots than fascists. Fascists tend to shy away from religion, it just complicates things) then you're evil. I remember once when my Chemistry teacher told me that if I didn't want to stand for the pledge that I should "just pack up and leave the country."

Funny, because that's how our enemy would react.

Its one thing to watch your government to make sure it works for the people, it's another to spread dissent only for dissents sake!

Your teacher was right! You want to enjoy what this country has to offer and provide nothing in return but criticism. I know it's really too much to ask to pledge support to the country that has given you more opportunities than anywhere else on earth!
