At this point, I might as well remind everyone that a few nights ago (game nights) a woman in a dress visited me and got me to investigate SL. He is neither scum nor town (I'm guessing that means third party). I said this immediately the next day but I guess everyone ignored it.

True, but that means we know that SL is one of the cults, which we were fairly sure of anyway.

That gives me just as much reason as scum for him to die, and since my results don't seem to be too trustworthy, at the moment, I would rather go after a guaranteed good choice for town.

However, I think we can be pretty much assured that ga7 is the devil if he still hasn't answered...

Doesn't really matter though- he either

a) Knows AD to be third party/scum and is withholding the information which makes no sense, as the investigation was from someone else's role not his (presumably the same person who visited you) meaning it doesn't make him a bigger NK target

or

b) Knows AD to be town but is voting him anyway

Option a makes no sense, and a good player like SL would realise that so therefore b is the only viable option.

I don't think we really want to keep anyone who is knowingly voting a townie do we..? Seems he's not part of a third party who wins with town, or is a survivor who has no problem with voting townies off.

It can't, obviously, which is why you insinuating "another Iliad" being in the game doesn't help you in the least bit.

Come on! He said "someone from a different type of Iliad." Obviously, it's one of the Gods or one of the characters in the Iliad. A few names off the top of my head from it are Achilles, Paris, Helen, Odysseus from the Odyssey was in it, Hector, Agamemnon and maybe the king of Troy (I forget his name, starts with "p"). I could see any of those roles in this game, but those are pretty much all the majorest of the many characters from that book.

It's been so long, but do I remember someone mentioning an Achilles role way back?

Thanks animorph, for exposing the vig. Or at least that's what I make of it. Why on earth did you chose to investigate exile's death? Any of the others would have been better.

I'm sad Kwanton chose to out me, as this will likely lead to another discussion of whether or not to kill the 3rd party guy, while the mafia stay out of the spotlight. I'll speed up the process a bit by claiming now instead of waiting for the inevitable bandwagon.

I'm Xena, Warrior Princess. I'm an ally of the goddess Athena, whose identity I don't know. From what I understand, Athena didn't know my identity either, so let me use this opportunity to say "Hi" to my friendly-neighborhood goddess. I could share some flavour with you, but the message that was sent through the PA system kinda says it all already:

I believe this message was sent by the real Athena, because it matches the information in my role PM. My goal is to help Athena get Ares killed/lynched. I have a special ability to help me, but I don't think it would be wise for Ares to learn about that, so I'm going to keep that to myself if you don't mind. I ensure you it's not a killing ability though. Once Ares dies, my duty to Athena ends and I become pro-town.

And also if you remember, both Salubri and SL claimed the role Xena. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Especially since we have a scum role that's turned up twice and is suspected to be a disguiser or something.

Kwan we knew SL was third party.. but he was claiming they became townies after their rival God was lynched. It's now apparant he's trying to get rid of someone he knows is a townie, so it's obvious he wasn't being honest, and is in fact anti-town.

1. I was suggesting that Salubri be the one we investigate, since he made his claim and simply slipped the radar thereafter. Also, remember that he originally claimed a role which could absorb powers a long, long, time ago? I think he's a possible candidate for T1000.

2. Yes, I am aware that you recruited me. But if I'm trying to find something, should I make it out that I'm searching for it? I have been looking for Ares, it's just I'm that not gonna lead bandwagons on people until I find him.
