Actually, RD's logic kinda makes sense. Unless there could be an alternate politician (doesn't necessarily have to be an actual human politician right? Could be some sort of life form with mindcontrolling properties, although I'm definitely way past my familiarity with the show, as I've previously said my entire exposure to the show is a game I had in Mafiacum.net) and anyways, while I'm not sure we can get a wagon on Crab in the next 48 hours, we could try. Aack, don't lynch me! I have a longstanding unopposed claim as a pro town character.
Here are our two choices as I see them:
1. Do what RD says and go after CrabNebula.
2. Lynch Rd as she has been suspicious for so time now.

Personally I think RD is more scummy than CrabNebula at this point, but I am not sure we can come to that lynch at this time. So I will wait for a little while before I vote. Please choose one of these two options so we can try to make some progress.

RD a good chunk of your argument is that you think that politician is a scummy roll. This really isn't a valid idea as politician is proven to potencially be a pro-town roll. Personally I think it is more likely to be a town rool than a mafia one.

i am a town person okay. and, i do agree you are part of the town crab but, your caracter is anti-town always looking to close down the stargate.
so, you can't possible be a positive part of the town
call me whatever you want. scum whatever.

i did my research and passed it along. i felt when i did that, that could have been what Lovo was thinking when he used that character.

I cannot comment on the alignment of my character (not role) since I do not watch the show. But I reiterate, if the politician would have been made scum he would have been very overpowered.

And there is no reason for me to believe that you are town, you haven't acted as one nor answered questions thrown at you. Its highly unlikely that LoVo would make a role that cannot be revealed especially when the character isn't of much importance.

Hmm. Finally caught up on my reading, Unvote. While the arguments against Spiesr make sense, his defense does too; and overall I find it hard to believe that mafia would have a roleblocker but not town, then the fact he wasn't counterclaimed after all this time makes it way more likely for him to be town (and an important role at that).
About the current case of RD & Crab, before today I had them marked as town in my mind without much second thoughts; however reading again the argument against Crab which seems to have a questionable character a thought occured to me: Clive was a town doublevoter; so maybe Lovo figured it wouldn't be overpowered to have a politician as scum as the two roles kinda balance each other out. That said, RD has been very scummy apparently lying about her claim (and I'd be tempted to apply the lynch all liars rule especially since bomb is a common scum fakeclaim); but seeing her interaction with Nag & Fir makes it pretty unbelievable for her to be scum IMO (no offense but this kind of ploys take both planning and solid experience for scum to pull, which just doesn't seem to fit for RD).
Now, Lovo might just have decided to make a scummy character town cause he fitted a role well, but the doublevoter + politician idea makes sense in terms of balance. In any case seeing we have a deadline coming I would much prefer following this Crab lead than people hurrying to lynch Spiesr and discover he is in fact the town roleblocker.

Urm, there were a few people who were Earthlings but were not 'for' the stargate command. I.. don't quite remember which one was Kinsey though, but did he have a symbiote in him? If not, then any of those type of government characters that appeared from time to time likely wouldn't of been scum, either town or possibly third-party.
So I somewhat believe Crab, untill I do some more looking over << Or go watch some of those stargate episodes featuring him.
And for the record I believe Spiesr to be innocent but
urm.. what name did he claim again? ^^'
