PS: why do you consider that TOFU has beaten S&M as best performance in the last year? they haven't; they have beaten KORT.
I know that S&M was created during the TOFU-KORT semi final; but since we had eliminated TSM from the competition in quarter finals, TSM members were not allowed to participate in the TOFU-KORT matchup. Therefore, KORT was not S&M yet.

well no. that was still kort's last battle as kort, not as S&M; as I said, they were not allowed to be S&M as TSM was eliminated. The merger happened during KORT vs TOFU.

Let's say the lakers and the clippers merge right now during the playoffs to become the clikers after an anouncement in the middle of the series. if they lose their series, the blazers would've beaten the clippers, not the clikers.... their roster would be 100% clippers anyway, and lakers players wouldn't ve joined yet.

Officially, there was no merger.

KORT simply changed its name to S&M. Then S&M recruited a bunch of TSM players.

Of course, everyone know the change of name is due to the "merger" of TSM and KORT. But it wasn't a merger regarding clan rules.

S&M was allowed to keep KORT record and F400 ranking because they didn't do a merger. They only changed their name.

You have to compare it to the creation of ACE. AOC and EMP did merge, therefore they started with a new F400 and didn't keep any of the previous result of ACE or EMP.

Therefore, S&M is KORT, all KORT history belong to S&M. This is why if you go to the clans tab, and check clan war history of S&M; you still have all KORT wars. But no TSM war, because it wasn't a merger, it was just changing the name then accepting bunch of TSM players.
