That I am, and judging by some of your screen shot choices, so are you!

That is Bringing Up Baby with one of my all time favourite actors, Cary Grant. :D

Ok now to find another shot to post....

And IMDb confirms it. Was your third shot gonna be cruise?

Okay, here's my new screenshot - from one of the most popular sci-fi movies ever released: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/4805/hand03zp1.png

Sorry Sacky, you were so close as well...right director, just wrong movie!

And no it wouldn't have been the Cruisemeister - because I never expected it to get to three shots anyway!

(and even if by some chance it did, I still wouldn't have gone with the crazy Scientologist!)

Nope.

It had a sequel which I think was pretty good, but an awful number 3.

Correct: it's after he's touched the mirror and is about to wake up in the real world. I didn't consciously make the Thomas Anderson connection.

I did find this for a 2nd Matrix screenshot which would've been a nice connection, and looking for a 3rd Matrix screenshot, I found this - compare it to this shot from the silly Shoot 'em up.

I can't believe it took you 3 guesses, I had this one right away!

(of course I've seen this movie like 30 times... which I guess makes me a loser, but whatever)

Well I am so sorry for only having seen the movie once, some eight years ago! - I will try to follow your geeky example and watch every film from now on at least a dozen times!

So Mr Smarty-pants, see if you recognize this one:
