Hatters Chairman, Martin Reid, said: "For the last few weeks Paul Cheetham, our Financial Director, our Chief Executive, Seán Connolly and I have had an exhausting round of very productive meetings. I cannot yet reveal the details of these meetings but I can say that they have resulted in a substantial inflow of money into the club and that this has enabled us to meet our immediate financial requirements and push into the background the spectre of Administration which nobody at the Club wants."

A light shining in the darkness?? Who knows, but it is something positive.

F****** sh*** ref. He hasn't reffed a game in over a month because he's that awful yet somehow he is allowed to ref a competitive international match of big importance wtf.

Then he goes and makes a completely ridiculous decision to rule out Caldwell's goal for "pushing" which clearly did not happen, what happens next Holland go up the other end and get a penatly to put the game to bed. At 2-1 we would have been in with a good shout of a point with a momentum swing and the Dutch getting nervous but at 3-0 its all over.

Oh well we have to regroup for Iceland on Wednesday, we need three points.

p.s. gary teale is not worthy of our shirt.

Scotland 2 Iceland 1 :D

the win is all that matters, back on track to finish 2nd.

Englands game was fairly shite. Lampard was none existant.

:D We don't have a game for ages now though.

I absolutely garauntee you that Scotland will finish 2nd and be the one team that doesn't make the play offs, I knew it as soon as I heard how it works, it would just be so typical Scotland.

All the "Home" sides did ok, apart from Wales, could it be possible that England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic can all make it to South Africa?!
Prob not but here's hoping (Smiley lifting a pint!)

Look at Scotland's groups we've had in the past 9 times out of ten we are in the group of death. Like last time with the two world cup finalists. We deserve an easy group and did not get one at all. Look at the Greece group thats an easy ass group.

Ours is tougher than it looks because we were never going to finish ahead of Holland and then if we are second then we need to get that 8 out of 9 shot to get to the play offs and if we get there garuanteed we will get Portugal or someone like that.

p.s. We know you love us sam, but its always nice to hear it anyway. :D

HAHAHAHAHAHA

What a good day at the emirates. To be honest i expected more from Man City and im puzzled as to what mark hughes thought would cause us any trouble. Still, easy warm up to the trip to Villarreal, who lost 3-0 to almeria. I fancy a 2-1 win myself.

I was in the pub when Liverpool narrowly edged Man U. 5 minutes after the final whistle they were all gone.

Anyway, to business. Ignoring my curse of betting on Liverpool and losing, I've put a fiver on 'em to win 3-0
