One - The Pirates
Two - I can maintain an officer's rank.
Three - I enjoy reading the drivel on these forums, as well as contributing my own share.
Four - It's an addiction, plain and simple

Posted or not, I can gaurantee Lack is on top of marketing stats. Also, we, here, just don't know what all his goals are. For example, I remember him saying a while back (when he was still posting) that we were perhaps growing too fast for a time. There were more people joining than the servers could keep up with (remember all those crashes???), etc.

And.. the bottom line is that he, not we, are in charge here.

That said, it can be interesting to discuss such issues.. and I am sure Lack pays some attention, even if not as much as some folks would like. Still, its rather like kids debating over whether parental rules are appropriate. Once in a while they have a point "Dad, I really think I am responsible enough to stay up past 8PM.. if I am hard to get up, I won't complain about moving my bedtime back...". The funny part is, that no matter how sure most of us are that your parents were wrong.. when we get to be parents ourselves, we strangely find ourselves copying them .

Personally, I think concentrating on the unusual and diverse CC maps more is the way to expand for the long term (without taking away from the standard base), but I have stated that elsewhere. As I said above, its Lack's dime/reputation on the line, not mine.

why would CC be involved in a tournament with 2 other sites that are nowhere near the caliber of CC? it would be acknowledging them as somewhat "equal" and/or "relevant"... and guess what? neither are ..... nobody here would bother to look at either of those garbage sites.... i am one of CC's biggest critics, and realize how superior CC is to both of those sites.... bye!!-el Jesus negro
